a lot of these so called progressive shows end up showing regressive tropes eventually.. because they don't wanna antagonise majority of their viewership..

they were saying everyone's jealous of Yumna..Sajal is burning with jealousy of Tere Bin.. and i am thinking she just did an international movie with a director whose movie was nominated for oscar (if nothing else that is a big learning opportunity) , is doing shows made by big production houses, has done international movies, is doing big profile ads, known as a critically acclaimed actress, why would she be jealous of Tere Bin?
