See as the story is progressing there is no reason for DJ to care for him after breakup but the thing is if not then the character will end in the show and that isn't what can happen (at least seems) because Zaan had quit another show for Vanshaj... he wouldn't have agreed if this was such a small role

Therefore probably post breakup there will be other reason why DJ will decide to tag him

Zaan ki role choices samajh me nai aate.

First maitri for a small stint then vanshaj where he chose a character which is a badly written. Kartik is not even a properly flawed or grey character. At this point kartik is a joke.
