DJ as per precap is now in a hurry to get Yuvika married & shunted out with Karthik (that's what Gargi's initial plan was) after Yuvika directly accused him of plotting fire breakout in hotel kitchen to kill her & destroy Phoenix.

But DJ/Gargi still underestimate Subhadra. Sure she will create hungama that till Shanaya's wedding date is fixed, she won't allow Yuvika's wedding..forget about Bhoomi objecting taking some excuse that its not even couple months since Prem's death, so they need some more time and ofcourse Yuvika vowing till Phoenix turns profitable she can't think of marriage.

Subhadra's daughter Shanaya was already engaged to Rishab who is from rich business family Post Prem's death when media did dirty relapse of 20 years back scandal, Rishab's family broke rishta & Subhadra hence still has that pent up anger on Nagar's.

This means Shanaya may be older cousin to Isha, Arjun, Miraya who are still college going teenagers. So elders in the family won't soon bother about weddings, or careers of these three Mahajan youngsters is a given.

Ideally first Shanaya's wedding date needs to be fixed even before Yuvika's, since as per initial plan after DJ-Ruhi wedding she was in Q. Gargi completely overlooked in her sudden gist to trap Karthik.

Yea he seems like a very diplomatic person but is blindly in love with his wife and son so probably won't leave their side

Technically abhi tak tak DJ and Kartik aren't friends (not even from Kartik's POV)

See as the story is progressing there is no reason for DJ to care for him after breakup but the thing is if not then the character will end in the show and that isn't what can happen (at least seems) because Zaan had quit another show for Vanshaj... he wouldn't have agreed if this was such a small role

Therefore probably post breakup there will be other reason why DJ will decide to tag him
