Thanks for sharing. Didn't realise it would have taken them that long. They would more or less have some idea of the coordinates of that region as there was rescue made.

Yes, they had an idea of the place where the ship sunk. They say that debris led them to the main wreck. It's an interesting read. Padho.
Also, it took them so long cuz that time technology wasn't that advanced but still they found it. 1985 is also too early IMO.
