There is something genuine heartwarming about their scenes, which every other relationship on the show lacks. It's so rare for ITV to show a father as gentle and understanding as Abhi.

Yes, that is the one silver lining in this that Abhirmanyu are back together.....but with Ak hanging around in many of their scenes or trying to give weird twists to their interactions, it does take away a bit from the vibes right now.

I would have liked to get more one on one Abhi-Abhir scenes as they built back their bond....but makers are now keener to insert Ak in everywhere with her half-baked senseless dialogues so what to do I supposesmiley36....gotta take it in stride.

What are the writers high on? And they want us to applaud with this woman. There's no realisation as to what she stole these two off of. Although I love Harshali chemistry and want to see OG Abhira intense romance but aise toh koi connection hi nhi ayega. Like today's episode was good I liked how Abhi shut the call after she said Mera beta! She has no regards for his efforts. She is pathetic. She doesn't deserve Abhi! But out of all the scenes everything was ruined because of that majboori dialogue. I hated it! I am not even able to watch the old Abhira scenes now. I feel like Ak everytime she comes in screen. She is mean. Nothing like an ITV lead.

I hear you…the writer is in love with Abhinav so despite the slap from the channel can’t let him go…that’s why all those dialogues

So then I don't get the point of showing such disjoined coparenting scenes which give a feeling of a fake facade rather than a genuine equation. Would have been better to show them awkwardly navigating coparenting rather than pretending they are great at it by doing this fake looking bantering but Ak still feeling so entitled to casually dismiss his fatherhood.

And I'm frankly at a loss at what Abhi can do at this point to confront her on this or say anything he hasn't said before about his pain over this.....she simply doesn't care. If that realization has to come, it has to come from within and writers clearly don't give a damn given how shallow and meaningless her dialogues are again. So I'm not really able to see where they are going with this.

Also don't get the point of the "Abhi" scene coming up in tomorrow's epi as a transition from today's scenes....lol they are looking even more disconnected as characters in this coparenting phase than they did in the angsty transition phase they were in one week back trying to pull together for the sake of Abhir's depression. The ice-cream scene looked way more genuine than whatever randomness they were doing today.

I think all I got from the RJ monologue is that their will be a new relationship between them, not that Ak will make any efforts or anything like that. It is still a fake facade only, everything Ak does is fake from so long, her real self doesn't exist anymore. Lets just wait a watch. The whole episode today was disjointed, not just Abhira. We may see more of what the reality is after a few days. That's how leaps usually are, they show some disjointed scenes and the reality is only after a few days. Like even in this leap the first episode felt so unreal, but then slowly we got to know about Abhi's depression, Manjari's issues etc.

To me, Akshara's dialogues and her behavior towards Abhi-Abhir relationship comes off as jealousy. She has no reason to feel this threatened by a child finding comfort and solace in his own father. It must bother her that Abhi never needed her to bond with his own son lol.

I always thought it was odd that how the makers inserted Abhi into her marriage from the earlier episodes lol. Now, she is actively inserting herself in Abhi-Abhir's relationship when she isn't needed or asked. Abhi never felt the need to remove or replace the Sharma's relationship with Abhir. He was never jealous or insecure about their bond. He wanted to create his own space separate from anyone else and he did it lol. The insecurity and jealousy Abhinav-Akshara exhibited towards Abhi makes perfect sense now. Abhi can create relationships on his own so he doesn't need a readymade or fake template hence her jealousy. She hide behind the fake Sharma family unit because she can't stand alone.

The disconnect is there, but I doubt the team cares enough to resolve anything. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if everything swept around the rug like Manjiri's accident to move forward with the wedding.

LOL true....gotta take it all with the baseline that Ak doesn't know any other way than to put up a fake facade for relationships. And yes, the whole episode felt disjointed, that is why I'm cribbing today....otherwise I'm more used to them serving dragging epis with Ak spouting random nonsense that can be trolled. But today the rushed disjointedness kinda disconnected me.

Oh well, as you said....we'll have to wait and watch if this has any point.

LOL yes, the fact that they still show her giving weird looks to Abhi-Abhir bonding does have to make one wonder why she feels so threatened by their natural bond.....even now after she herself has said multiple times to Abhi that Abhir is his son, they are both working to bring a smile on his face blah blah.....but the moment she actually sees Abhi succeeding on his own to have a special moment with Abhir, her first reaction is a weird kind of resentment....it is just so odd to see them depicting a mother like this. That is literally the man she created this child with, the man she has watched yearning in pain for his son for so long and seeing the child bonding with him leaves her with mixed feelings? smiley36

It's not even like Abhir has called him Papa or something that she can get FBs of Nav and feel weird about it....no, it's as simple as her child feeling contentment in the arms of his real father and she can't even handle that.....lol it's so weird and disconnecting to watch.....taints the Abhi-Abhir scenes unnecessarily but I guess this is part of the package from the makers at this point.

Even Manjiri was never this insecure as a parent....lol yes she's a possessive mom but she actively wanted Abhi to bond with his father.....here, Ak seems so damn insecure of Abhi-Abhir bonding as if them getting closer means her importance as a mom will reduce smiley36

I have come to terms that her character can't stand alone. She was also third wheel in Abhinav-Abhir's relationship too lol. Makers have rendered her character utterly useless as a mother. I'm happy Abhi-Abhir are genuinely happy after months of torture. Her comments are meaningless anyway.
