How's the episode?

First episode wasn't bad. Actually has an interesting premise.

It has the usual toxic characters, esp the Nand toh... 😵 Narcissism personified. She is a control freak to boot and wants to micromanage every aspect of her father's and brother's lives after her mom's death.

The hero also seems to be a narcissist who can't bear the fact that a girl may reject him. The rishta is brought to his father by his friend. He incidentally meets the heroine and judging from the promos, love-bombs her to accept him.

The heroine already has a boyfriend, but her mom especially is reluctant because he's not rich and well settled. Boyfriend seems good and supportive but doesn't want to get married yet.

Iss sab mein phassi bechari heroine. She is a professional woman (which is a pleasant change in Pak dramas). Gives Ted Talks on feminism and human rights. But falls prey to a bad arranged marriage with a narcissistic man. I'm actually looking forward to the story.

Best performances by Mikaal, Kiran Malik (who plays his sister) and Javed Sheikh.👍🏼 Dur E continues to irritate me with her unclear dialogue delivery and stilted acting. 🤣

@IntrovertedDame Thanks for the review. I'll check it, coz I am a fan of Mikaal. And I think he has chemistry with any actress he works with. 😳
