Mimi is a good movie..started watching it just coz it appeared on the feed while scrolling, but it was so engrossing.

And have always liked Kriti..she was great in Bareilly ki barfi too. Didn't expect a national award for her at this stage but it's a pleasant surprise.

Is there any movie awards in india that can be taken seriously? I really dont think so, I'm not saying the Hollywood awards are 100% unbiased but they still are taken really seriously and people all over the world wait to know who has won the Oscars and golden globes.

But filmfare and national awards have become so questionable, many of the decisions they have made are just so unbelievable. There is so much politics and PR that has come into play. Like does anyone wait with excitement for the national awards to be announced? I didn’t even know the awards were happening today, that’s how much most people don’t care

I saw Mimi. Movie isn't bad. Pankaj is in it. But Kriti, as usual, was below average. I just cannot believe she won a national award for it!😆

May be because when Deepika did it there were better actors than her. But now all we have is the mediocre Kriti and Alia whom even judges couldn’t choose from and so went the lazy way of ‘slapping’ them both with it. Kya faida hua aise awards ka?😆
