I feel Alia didn't grow up in s healthy family environment. I saw a clip of Mahesh bhat acting out in stage interview. Alia and her mother were also sitting there and she kept saying dad it's enough and stop and looked really embarrassed. Before Alia the Bhatt's didn't really had any good reputation. Even after Alia made it big, there were news of her brother being arrested for anti-national activities or something like that. Her PR team is good so they never let the news to get much milage.

Also she never came off as the brightest bulb out there.

Tbh, she is not naive. She understands very well. But every time the strategy won't work. She thinks that speaking all these BS will make her look cute but it isn't working.

Lot of people believe that just bcz she has screwed up gk & did blunder in kjo show so she is stupid but in reality she took that in her stride & marketed herself through AIB & that video became popular overnight. Not only her but AIB also got a huge boost..it was intelligently done.

And she did not had well defined PR that time. So business & marketing wali dimaag hai bandi mei but yehi hai ki iss tarah ki strategy hamesha work nai karegi..

Alia wanted kapoor tag & Ranbir wanted a girl who matches him professionally (I mean in terms of acting career). That daal chawal statement, chappals uthana all are merely publicity stunt....Deepika & katrina are out thanks to him & also to her mom. Alia was the only Target remaining & baaki sabka age nikal chuka tha.

Also Ranbir very well knows that if he screws up this time he is gone for sure. His acting is great no doubt but professionally he is not doing that well. So he knows if he screws up people are gonna talk about him which is bad for his PR

Aliya is better than him from whatever I have seen. I have seen only few of her movies but I have liked her since Highway

Awards have been irrelevant. But, Aliya is better than most of the other nepo kids. Although no comparison with Allu. Although he is nepo he is way more talented.
