It's true. Instead of actually being progressive, this show pushes the more regressive ideas:

elders can never be wrong and must always be put on a pedestal

Being a mother is the greatest achievement of a woman's life

all educated/career oriented women have grey shades and/or are fully negative, only the domesticated housewife is truly virtuous and epitome of good

divorced women are unable to leave behind the relations from their past marriage and will push aside current husband and run after ex-husband and his household only

Only two kinds of men exist in the world: cheaters/abusers or yes men who nod to every whim of their wife. There is no in between.

Employers are ultra evil for expecting professionalism from their employees especially when they are under contract. Employees can cause millions of rupees worth of losses but it should be instantly forgiven when they claim it was done for the sake of family.
