Who says Aishwarya or Jaya have to be considered Bachchans? Aaradhya is half Rai half Bachchan; of that half Bachchan, she is actually quarter Bachchan and quarter Bhaduri.

So to talk about legacy and only mention a quarter of the family legacy is sexist and patriarchal af.

But what about Aishwarya’s parents ? Can Ash get her mother to stay with the Bachchans after her dad passed away ??? No right. That is where patriarchy comes in.

Also what about the name and success that Ash has got ? She is so much more famous than her husband . But she gave it all up to be a housewife don’t know if it was her own choice or so that Abhishek gets all the limelight! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ash has even stoppped attending any kind of events except Cannes. She is not papped , hardly comes out for premieres, functions etc. Abhi is almost always alone.

Abhi is a great guy but yeah when I saw that podcast first time I did feel he was being patriarchal.
