It's clear after Abhir's illness track, makers never really had a sense of their story. It was jumble of various tracks thrown together with no proper pacing or continuity.

Rn they're tryin to keep several tracks open like :

AK lawyer era

Abhir hating AB on knowing about his involvement in his papa's death

Manju flipping n becoming maa to AK again so that she can propose Abhira marriage later

Muskaan vs AK in future if latter says AB is innocent

AK pregnant

Whatever track will work for them they'll drop others n start pursuing the one.

Which is shown to audience only from abhinav 's birthday episode ,from their they tried to focus akshara was actually trying move on truly from that time ,which is y they are trying to focus abhira are destined,whenever they will try to do opposite ,they will come back to each other

Also, she didn’t marry Abhinav cause she moved on. She married him to punish Abhi. She moved on and accepted her marriage after the temple confrontation. Till then, she was just using Abhinav. Toxic relationship toh woh tha! 😆

Funnily enough, she could have punished him better by filing a DV case since verbal abuse and emotional abuse whether momentarily or periodically falls under the DV Act of 2005. Then Abhimanyu could have hired a lawyer and fought the case to prove his innocence. That'd have been a swifter and more damaging punishment if Akshara were aiming for that. But her marrying someone else after Abhimanyu divorced her doesn't seem to be mediated by thoughts of punishing her ex. Because that's not how a divorce works.
