Yes Tapsee ends up with Abhishek in Manmariziyan. That would make him the lead not Vicky.
I donât think thatâs how it works or is every loser of a love triangle in a movie regulated to not being a lead ?
But length of role wasnât really the point to me that is.

It would make Tapsee the central character really. He def had less screen space then Abhishekh.

He was in BV and that came out before Zubaan. Not that release dates make difference to me.
I know he had such a substantial part in that. Find me a review that even mentions Vicky Kaushal in BV?

I can find you all the people India who couldâve been in Bombay Velvet If their circumstances were different

Please there are so many spots open for roles that aren't even worth mentioning. All the people in India would not have wanted to be in a role like that either. Not all the people in the world manage to get into medical school or law school. Does that mean the ones that do benefitted from nepotism. Compare that to Jhanvi who got title roles like gunjan saxena on a platter. And has yet to deliver a single good performance.
FYI why isn't Vicky mentioned in the title of this review?
But I liked that movie đżOriginally posted by: Grumpydwarf24

You want me to answer why I think a reviewer didnât think highly of Vicky enough to mention his name ? đ

Actually the reviewer thought very highly of Vicky's performance. They just didn't think he was the lead like you did. đ Here is what they said about Vicky's performance.
"Vicky Kaushal shines as the dullard musician Vicky, moving as if the beat has always just dropped in his head, as if there is an invisible DJ on an invisible turntable, operating at a dog-whistle frequency only he can hear. He wears a constantly confused look, unable to decipher why on earth his girlfriend could want an engagement. Abhishek Bachchan is tremendously likeable and restrained as Robbie, helpless and calm yet fervently wishing he could break character. âEven Rama broke character at times,â reminds Rumi, and the closest Bachchan comes to that is when he suddenly quotes one of his fatherâs lines from Kaalia."

Imtiaz Ali had honestly started losing me over the last few years. The magic felt diluted, the storytelling increasingly self-conscious. But...
