And what's the controversy abt OMG? People r liking it. The only possible controversy is that the censor board suggested few cuts n changes. That's done and it's all good.

Most reviews I have seen are positive about OMG2. I appreciate the subject they are trying to tackle.

But there was a lot of censorship and plot edits (Instead of being Shiva, Akshay is now Shiva's messenger.) In addition, ultra-conservative Hindu groups are targeting the movie. Recently there was a topic in this forum itself about some group paying people to slap Akshay Kumar. But if the controversy is minuscule and everyone is in favor of the film - then good - glad to hear it.

Looks like they are petitioning to remove A rating as the movie was made for teens and their families.

Gadar was cynical and loud, but I didn't deem it anti-Pakistan or anti-Muslim at all. Granted, I was much younger when it came out.

Ok..that's a localized fringe grp ..didn't see the news getting much traction.

Though if something offended them so much why to pay 10L to someone else..Khud hi kar lo ye kaam.

It shouldn't be the case, but production houses do find a reason to compete. 😃
