Gadar 2 is doing very well in South inspite of Jailer release. Not much hype about Jawaan there.

And what's the controversy abt OMG? People r liking it. The only possible controversy is that the censor board suggested few cuts n changes. That's done and it's all good.

Why even try to predict the success of a movie...or worry about...it's baseless, imo.

Gadar 2 is a success for reasons that won't correspond to what Jawan is about.

So why not just wait and see.

Personally, I did not ponder about the success of Gadar2...I was sure it would be loved.

I don't ponder about the success of Jawan in India...I just wait what will happen when the movie is released.

The craze for numbers ... doesn't impress me...

Sunny in his Gadar-avatar is a national hero taking up again the fight...it was clear to me that this will be loved whatever the content would be.

Jawan is just another SRK movie with a character/characters one may relate to or not.

No comparison between the two movies from my side. And I detest the attempt to make it a competition between Sunny and SRK (Gadar 2 'against' Pathaan/Jawan).... to me, that is utterly stupid.

Atleast another 100 Cr of Corporate bookings are a given but.....I think the real question is

How many tickets of Jawan will SRK buy himself this time? -100 cr, 200 cr, 300 cr? Massive collections & Empty theatres again?

It's a delight to see almost every box office portal keep hammering the word "Organic" in every article for Gadars collection. It's almost like they're apologizing....Sorry guys we lied through our teeth for Pathans collections....but we needed a ray of hope in those dark times. 😆

It's up to everyone to believe the narrative that suits their liking...

With Pathan, it wasn't the numbers that impressed me...and neither is it the case with Gadar 2...for both the movies it is the enthusiasm and love shown...and that isn't fake, imo.

i havent seen gadar 1 but just by making a film anti pakistan could not make it hit there must be something in film ....else Mission Majnu had same plot ..... its great that sunny deol is again getting relevant to new gen, and did it better than BOOBy deol

It's not Anti-Pakistan or Anti-Islam. It's Anti Pakistani Army/Hukumat which even the majority of Pakistanis would agree have looted the common man dry.

Arsalan, I think one hasn't to have watched Gadar to know that Sunny has become the ultimate national hero of Hindi Cinema...

So, it was clear that Sunny will still be the national hero again with an organic sequel of Gadar...

Sunny will remain the national hero of Gadar fame even after his death...
