This could be the officially unofficial discussion thread. I'll go first. I HATE how they butchered Karan's character. They wrote into the script every reprehensible thing possible. Hard drugs, gambling, lying, cheating, theft. He takes zero ownership of it because his mother is dying & towards the end, everyone just forgets his spiral.Originally posted by: sev.puri
Yeah what everyone else said - wait till the ending of the last episode. I have so many thoughts about this season - anyone made a discussion thread yet? Keen to hear other people’s thoughts too.

- Some episodes were very good. The Dalit one being a good example, Dia Mirza polygamy episode, the Mrunal episode on DV, I enjoyed the scenery of the France episode (should have been more destination shoots with the big budget this season tbh) BUT some episodes were so freakin’ stupid. Like ending on that dumbass episode with the decade age gap where she marries herself, c’mon man. Do better!
- Happy to see an actual trans woman play a trans character on Indian TV. Pretty monumental and I might get hate for this but Trinetra isn’t the best actress. Hopefully she’ll get better with time. On the other hand, Jim Sarbh was really good! Neil was decent too.
- Other than that, I love that they showcase the beautiful diversity of India. I know I’m hella biased, but no one does weddings like Indians do. We’re so over the top but it’s the best, probably why this show is so popular to begin with.
- Special shout out for Sobhita’s wardrobe. She looked GORG! Now I know her lips have always been plump, but I felt like she had some fillers in this season? It was bugging me.
That’s all that comes to mind for now but overall, I definitely preferred season 1. I guess not every Indian series can have a brilliant second season like The Family Man. To me, it wasn’t worth the 4 year wait, but still a good watch I guess.
Episode 7 was trash. They should have ended at 6.

- This season was a lot slower than the first. I feel like there was a massive shift in focus from the weddings itself which I didn’t love.
- Bulbul/Mona Singh deserves all the accolades this season. Loved her character and her portrayal was bang on.
- Tara and Karan both this season were annoying! I rarely support the big rich guys but WHY was she after the house as opposed to the shares? Felt selfish and just ugh. You already covered everything about Karan.
HAHAHA like mister where do you think you're going? to Berklee!? right away!? bruh just wait up 5 mins to inform your hungry guests you don't intend to get married today, have some cake, dance a little, don't be so ridiculous because your ex-to-be bride is about to make it uncomfortable for the priest.Originally posted by: Supari_khala

I found Kabir irritating and shallow. Despite his deep introspective monologues for the weddings he himself when speaking with and interacting with others came across very pseudo intellectual.
I love Jazz for her blunt naivety. She very much is on the outside looking in but appears to be more comfortable with that although not quite.
Karans spiral was not addressed and it needs to be. He screwed over the company and Tara and was not apologetic in the slightest. All can not be forgiven because he lost his mother. His actions need consequences. Instead, somehow he is rewarded with the khanna house.
Tara's insistence and means of getting Khanna house was repulsive. She allows her mother to control her far too much and that has shown her regression as she was freeing herself away from her mother in season 1 but in season 2 she let's her mother get inside her head. I did not like her attitude towards her chef boyfriend but I'm glad they broke up. He was able to show her the mirror so well.
Adil despite being a hotshot business man and being fully aware Tara leaked their sex tape still allowed himself to be manipulated by her again. I found that hard to believe although Tara is very tempting for most men I just thought he would have been more wary.
Bulbul-ji was a breath of fresh air and a solid addition to Made In Heaven. She was so good as the grounding factor for Made In Heaven. Her and Mr Jauhari are so good together. I lobed their family dynamic and how progressive they were despite initial impressions appearing as though Jauhari was bigoted.
Of the episodes the one with Mrunal and Radhika Apte were my favourites. The destination wedding for the grandeur and not so subtle digs at bollywood was entertaining. Any guesses who sarfaraz and leila were loosely based on? I did not enjoy the final episode as much as I did others.
The season felt very surface level to me …it’s like they decided to tackle one issue per episode and it’s almost like going through some kinda woke syllabus
The previous season had much more layered writing and twists and turns that kept us invested …like how we got the big reveal of Tara leaking the tape to trap Adil in the end …or how we got to know faiza and adil are cheating on Tara …or how karan was arrested out of the blue …it had more …action and more empathy
Can someone plz throw kabir off a cliff..can’t tolerate his judgy ass
the last episode with Sarah Jane and her “single and happy” monologue was cute on paper, but didn’t match up on screen coz it’s soo superficial …radhika apte was overacting and all hyper with her monologues ..she’s getting monotonous …Mrunal was ok…neelam episode was meh…diya mirza episode was meh…
The best thing abt this season was the jauhari fam and episode 1 with all the sabyasachi clothes (and sabyas cameo…what a cutie haha )
I really really like the leads ..sobita and arjun…they are good actors but this season shortchanges them…
I wish there were more to Tara’s gold digger obsession with getting lots of alimony…or arjuns handling of grief …
What Tara did was not right …I get that she was hurting coz …both she and Adil did terrible things but he gets away with it and continues to live in his big house with his money, while she has to financially struggle …but he’s a businessman whos born to a rich family…she can’t claim rights on that claiming what’s happening to her is “unfair”…alimony makes sense in cases where wives gave up their careers for raising a family …and are now on the backfoot in the employment market due to lost years in experience …if anything she hugely benefited from marriage …and got all the hotshot contacts for her business
I didn’t like the ending either Mrunal and Mona’s character both tolerated abuse
