I really really wish Dimply files police complaint against SH for domestic violence. SH was already running high on police warnings post Adhik-Pakhi fiasco. Let police come and threaten AnupaMAA and in the process SH, Vanraj won’t take a sec to flip and blame AnupaMAA alone for the slap. Not like it’d be an eye-opener to AnupaMAA to realize her beloved soulmate’s true colors, but I just want to see her face on instant reaction, that’s it. 🤣

I have already expressed my views on what I think of Anupama slapping Dimpy and why it's just poor writing and bad character handling in the Anupama main thread. So I won't repeat that here.

Let's address the other issue. Should you call out your elders if you feel they are in the wrong? Yes, you should. You absolutely should. What people fail to understand in such a situation is that age can make you an elder but it does not make you mature. It can give you perspective but it's not some excuse card to put down the younger generation and dismiss their opinion. Just because they are younger does not take away their right to express their opinion.

You absolutely should speak up and as far as maryada is concerned understand that a differing opinion is always hard to swallow and no matter how politely you put it forward will always feel like breaking maryada. As for maryada itself more than anything else, now it's just a made up construct that changes parameters on the whims of those who are given a greater standing in society so they themselves can feel justified in their glass houses.

OP should consider breaking that glass house every once in a while. It's very cathartic

Anupama as a show has a huge base and as the FL and others keep boasting that people clme and say how much they relate to the show.

Yeh ITV wale palla nahi jhad sakte saying we r here for entertainment and not to teach.

I have said earlier to, accha nahi dikha sakte toh bakwas mat dikho.

Dimpi crossed her line when she talked about Bapuji.

Atleast that guy ia getting pension so he earns by himself to eat and feed his wife at this age.

There are many truths to be pointed out to shah family and anu. But dimpy has no leg to stand on.

While on one hand i did enjoy a little of the family being shown the mirror, but someone needs to show the mirror to dimpy as well. She is a vile person. She literally shamed anu for her almost divorce with anuj and threw her out of her own academy.

And the worst part is that dimpy has no reasons to behave like this. We can't say x happened so dimply is justified. this essentially is her character sketch.

I like it when people who have the moral standing to call out other people. Dimpy has none. She is just being a loudspeaker for the sake of being.

Saddest thing is that the main lead RG keeps going on interviews and claiming its a progressive show and inspiration for Indian women. So they are not even claiming its just fiction and for entertainment, they are claiming what they are showing is an example for all Indian women to follow.
