I’m not disputing its quality at all. My speculation was mainly based on the fact that this may very well be flop number 4? 5? for Akshay. Movie is being sold as his movie so he and his team really need for this to not be a failure.

Gadar 2’s opening proves that internet audience is not the same as real life .

Audience review videos say it's a theatre experience. It's same like part 1..critics trashed it but moviegoers loved it.

So if it's a big screen experience like Salman movies or KGF, BB kind then u may not enjoy it as much on OTT

Basically Tara Sakeena's nostalgia factor is being used to bring people to theatre so that they can leave praising the new actor who plays the son 🤦🏻🤦🏻

It is not a movie to be watched on OTT. For what it’s worth, it is better watched on the big screen, especially if you are in India.

Yes the son did hog some screen space, but the show is still very much run by Tara Singh only.

As for the praise, I wonder what praise he was expecting to hear because bechara literally merges into the background in every frame that he shared with Sunny or even Ameesha.

I was prepared to get annoyed angry and what not but unfortunately his presence is so pheeka that it fails to even create negative feelings. 😅
