I didn't like the film #Gadar2 because of its illogical and incoherent screenplay, outdated script and concept, over the top action sequences and poor direction. Anil Sharma was trying to showcase his son

I've seen it. The content is fine when Sunny Deol is onscreen. Unfortunately, Anil Sharma is a crook and has given 45+ minutes in the first half to his son & his love story. Even in the second half he's there along with Sunny for the whole time and there's instances when a dialogue which Sunny would've killed, is given to his useless son. Sunny is unleashed in the final 15 minutes & that's the best part of the film. The climax is the only reason, Sharma isn't being pelted with chappals. People are leaving happy with vintage Sunny Deol & sorta forgetting that they just watched an Utkarsh Sharma love story in the first half. It's nowhere near Gadar even though Sunny tries his best to breathe life into it. But he doesn't have the sorta dialogues he had in the first one.

The experience is unlike any other though. I'm visiting India at the moment & I'm glad I got to witness this grassroot Epic. It's mayhem in the theatre. You're most probably going to miss most dialogues anyways, among the cheers/clapping/whistles. The crowd is LOUD. It has more of a concert feel than a movie theatre.

@Bold : I wish there was a 🤦🏻 reaction. This sounds like the director wanted to launch his son & cleverly used the "Gadar" name to make it a smooth landing. Basically Tara Sakeena's nostalgia factor is being used to bring people to theatre so that they can leave praising the new actor who plays the son 🤦🏻🤦🏻

Mujhe lag raha hai..this movie is like Pathaan..too much hooohaa hawabaazi and little to no content..Utkarsh Sharma Kisko chahiye but it will make 300 crores..just because..Gadar and Paajee combo..

But this has a lot to do with the whole nostalgia factor attached with a once mega blockbuster movie. This is a sequel of a very very well loved movie. It's a matter of debate what Sunny Deol could prove had he come with an new, fresh movie.

I think even Sunny Deol knows he cant make another 100 crore hit. Unless he teams up w another star. This film was an exception imho
