Been watching a headstrong, heavily opinionated, domineering, loud, no pretense, emotional Kailash Garewal for months in Sony's Katha Ankahee to whom his sensible, patient, traditional & thoughtful wife Kavita has to often show proper mirror, make him reflect, understand reality, accept his wrong notions, mend his relationships with his dear ones with so much perseverance.

When we watch same actor Gireesh Sahdev as pretentious rich Dhanraj Mahajan here in Sabtv Vanshaj, who is often shown like puppet in hands of his power hungry cunning wife & son, we hardly get reminded of Kailash, the character of KA. In addition to writing, actors caliber also has to be lauded for showing variance in these portrayals, though both are rich businessman.. and today the way Dhanraj's years long buried wish for chair & his greed got a boost with Bhanu's unexpected twisted proposal, the way he flipped quickly, actor was remarkable to watch. 👏

Kailash and Dhanraj cannot be compared at all , sometimes I'm shocked at the fact that both these characters are played by the same actor. Both their mannerisms , body language and tone are entirely different from each other . Kailash is way too confident about the decisions he makes wheras Dhanraj is a puppet in the hands of DB and Gargi....

Exactly! I understand DJ is upset and ofc he has the rights to be. Having your dreams and confidence crushed that too before media is embarassing and frustrating too. But I don't get it why he was being too aggressive. He should've showed atleast a little respect to his father. He's hurt and Dhanraj too knows it somewhere. Afterall DJ is his own son. But atleast he could've showed some courtesy and not yelled before him so ruthlessly. Anyways, he's just fulfilling his "aur main apna haq kisi ke saath share nahi kar sakta. Kisi Mahajan ke saath bhi" wala moto😆

They don't work now as they are young and it college. Once they come of age they might want to join business...

I am not saying about now, but if the thing is to test for future all of them shall be given a fair chance

True , but for now Arjun is only intrested in swimming, Shanaya is intrested only in fashion and the only thing we know about Miraya is that she's intrested in 5G Krishna....🤷

Vidur wanted to kill Duryodhan because he said Duryodhan will be a doom to family...

I mean yes he did that after growing up, but an infant is always innocent, obviously it's hurtful or traumatic to know that your own uncle wanted to kill you as infant, from his POV... And still he never behaved disrespectfully with Vidur...

The childhood would have been fearful thinking someone of his family wants to kill him, I think that's much more scary than just having been discarded by birth to be taken up by a loving one

I was trying to say that every character has been wronged a lot, it's only that Karna's non existent sob story is over highlighted..

@bold- agreed! Why only dj and yuvika. Why Shanya, miraya, isha, and Arjun are not considered. They may be in college today, but in future they can also be potential contender for heir. Did anybody ask these kids are they interested in joining business in future?

Though from show's point of view makers can afford to show only 2 leads. 6 leads would be too much as show already have so many characters.😆

@bold yes right, but then they should have had a scene when others say that they don't want to join business and then eliminate them
