I meant I don't think the writers will go down the OG way precisely because they've already changed a lot of things. They will likely pick and choose different things to make it fit into their own narrative.

I think the problem is some of those scenarios aren't being utilized well, and they aren't focusing on the essence of the story.

The marriage will happen, and misunderstandings between them are inevitable; there won't be any drama without it.

I don't know how maturely the writers will have the deal with it.

I just hope they don't turn it into some typical scheming sort of thing because the show was never supposed to be like this. And i also hope they don't focus on Aarav too much. The dynamic is important but not more than Katha and VIaan's story.

Been watching a headstrong, heavily opinionated, domineering, loud, no pretense, emotional Kailash Garewal for months in Sony's KA to whom his sensible, patient, traditional & thoughtful wife Kavita has to often show mirror, make him reflect, understand reality, accept his wrong notions, mend his relationships with his dear ones with so much perseverance.

When we watch same actor Gireesh Sahdev as pretentious rich Dhanraj Mahajan in power & business politics Sab show Vanshaj, who is often shown puppet in hands of his power hungry cunning wife & son, we hardly get reminded of Kailash the character of KA. In addition to writing, actors caliber also has to be lauded for showing variance in portrayals.👍🏼

I think there are unspoken differences between them. Like see, there is literally no dynamics between Katha and Mr. Grewal. Right now, even Yuvraaj has some sort of dynamic with Katha. It's just that it is very subtle. But, Reet does have some dynamic with Mr. Grewal but not Katha. Most of the times, Katha prefers to stay away from Mr. Grewal.

More correctly, the CV's of this show have portrayed his and Katha relation ship such that anything could happen between them and viewers won't even get disappointed.

If Mr. Grewal is a good character then, viewers will remember his apology to Katha and his good side and think whatever he did was because he was just being protective of Katha.

If he is antagonist, Viewers will remember his bad side. Him Banishing Katha, his saying that Katha should should die with Aarav, him wanting Katha to stay widow forever and so on. Also, not to mention, Mr. Grewal hasn't done any personal favour to Katha( because Katha refused it everytime he tried to do so). All he did was for Aarav and only for Aarav.

But, viewers will get more pissed if Grewal is an Antagonist simply because he has no reason to. But, both options are still open.

Also, really enjoying the discussion on this thread. This is exactly what I expected when I joined this forum. It took a while to get things right.

Too much involvement of Aarav in everything.He got trapped in fire because of his own planning to get Kailesh's acceptance for Viaan.Probably Papa G will accept him after this incident.Teji's acceptance is not being dealt with now because she is Katha's future saas.

@bold : I tend to disagree with whoever says this !! If you know how Aarav is brought up , he was suffering from fatal blood cancer , his mumma worked day and night to earn money for his treatment , and he knows this !! His life is all due to Katha efforts , this made him strong to do something for his mother , and he is doing it now , the very least he can do - his mamma happiness . He is vying for that family love as well , and daddy love - which he has not yet realised he is getting from Viaan , his Robin .

Everything is for a reason , nothing baseless !!
