It's about the fact for seven months viewers were told her marriage with him was unhappy. She was very vocal in her opinions about him, his love, his family, and their marriage. I think the TM is wondering why would she go back to him when his love caused her so much pain.

Of course, she can move on after Abhinav's death, but why with the man that allegedly caused her so much distress in the first place. That's a valid question.

And???? Couples break up and reconcile years later after having moved on and dated other people in the interim. Chef had a similar storyline. Johnny Flynn married his high school sweetheart after they went their way and dated other people in their 20s? Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus dated on and off for years? And that was a toxic af relationship.

Not that Abhimanyu would make a good partner for anyone. Abhira reunion would nevertheless be meh because they were never well-written to begin with, and Akshara's story sort of reached a full circle with finally being in a relationship where her consent and autonomy mattered. So Abhira reunion is dragging because no one is waiting for her to find her person in the world. She had it with Abhinav.

The emotional hook of the next few weeks would be Akshara had everything and lost everything; not that she finally gets to reconcile with her soulmate.

Edit : Also, this double standard is not applied to the dude who literally proposed to his ex-wife whom he had accused of numerous murders; "hum ek dusre ke liye hi nahi hai. I am done. Khatam karte hain.", while her current husband was alive. Uske standards kahan the that he was proposing to his brother's alleged murderer?

Can you just expand on this statement plz ..not that Abhimanyu would make a good partner for 'anyone.'..this is a strong statement and I want to know your reason behind saying it..also just clarify plz u are talking Bout pre or post leap Abhimanyu..because post leap Abhi is not the same person as per leap one..you can skip to answer this question as well..if you don't want to answer

Yeah I mean he proposed to his married ex ehile being engaged to her sister. I think it's pretty self explanatory how he has no regards for other people's lives when it comes to his feelings and wishes.

Looks like this is the same era, where a woman was shown being dependent on a man to take care of her child!!! A woman who is educated, and could have been independent and taken care of her own child!!!

And anyway it's not about chastity. It's the same show, where abhi proposed to Akshara knowing she is married and has a kid with another man. So purity or sex was never a question here.

Akshara fell in love with abhinav couple of months back, 2 mahine me abhinav ne pyaar ko nibhana sikha diya Akshara ko?? It's quite funny!!!

If she had mentioned ke saath nibhana sikhaya abhinav ne, woh acceptable hota.

I blame the sister..she clearly knows Abhi doesnt love her ..will.never love her..they are just engaged on whim of 6 year old ...which is again dumb as the sister should as a parent explain her kid that weddings are no joke...Abhi has been clearly vocal about telling Aarohi that he will never love her still she is delusional enough to want Abhi...at least Abhi has given no false promises to Aarohi and she is entering relationship with her eyes open so Aarohi is to be blamed for her feelings hurt

Married ex also came running towards Abhi when she saw him hurt..feelings are much complicated than that...someone who has lot of history...its very difficult to erase all the past totally..

This still doesn't answer the question that why Abhi cannot be a good partner to 'anyone '.

Well, it depends on how you see it!!!

Though he got engaged to arohi for ruhi!!!

He realised that he still loves only Akshara. Instead of spoiling his and Arohi's life, he decided to take a chance. I'm glad he did!!! He understood that akshara doesn't love him and he never spoke about it after!!!
