I don’t get this show

What is happening to this show??

First they show us a rushed love story in 10 episodes without any development. They fall in love, a big MU happens so I thought.. okay maybe they will break up and then after the 6 month leap we will get a hate to love story in a normal pace. But now it seems like Reyansh will get to know everything before the leap?? Why are they rushing the story to this extent? Im not relating to the characters anymore. Aradhana getting physical with Reyansh would have made sense for her character after 200 episodes maybe if they showed a proper development of trust and friendship between the characters. She was the one who was telling Reyansh that they should get to know each other a little bit more when she found out about the ring. Plus, she wasn’t even sure if she loved him yet so it does not make any sense
Honestly at this point I’m just failing to see the depth of Reyansh and Aradhana’s love after only 2 weeks🤔 I’m failing to understand why Reyansh hates ALL women just bcs his mom is in love with another man
Am I the only one who’s feeling this way? I hope the chemistry between the leads can save this show bcs I’m having serious doubts about this atm.

Also are they planning to end this show in 25 episodes or what😆 the MU got cleared up and I’m pretty sure A will forgive him in 1 episode🤣

Anyone know if this is supposed to be a finite show? With the way things are going, it doesn't seem like it'll last more than a few months to a year.

Even chemistry needs scenes to develop... Even if it's a finite series, it doesn't justify this super fast express... Shows all over the world, webseries, telefilms, movies all manage to build a credible love story within a finite time span... This is just bad writing and direction

Exactly. I’m not relating to the characters of the story anymore. There is a difference between not dragging the story and simply rushing it

In Shivangi and Kushal's Indore interview, I heard them both say that their show's pace is very fast. I am not sure, tbh, I think this is for sure a finite series. But how finite? lol Are they planning to wrap up in 3 to 6 months? Even in a few episodes, they can show better story development like how they show in Pakistani dramas. Indian TV shows do not have good writers. I can not even ship Aru and Rey anymore. I am just watching the show because Kushal and Shivangi look great next to each other but I can't ship Aransh after what Rey is about to do. I want it to turn into a revenge story where Aru will destroy Rey. That is sad because Kushal-Shivangi are fire together IMO 😆

The show its now focusing on the past events thus they have to rush it to show the present time. After show goes into the present time than the pace will be slightly slow.

Its more like now Reyansh knows the truth and wants back Aradhana while she is being bitter in love after what Reyansh had made her went through. Lets see how it goes

Proper developement of the love story will be in present time,the past mistakes learn in present and do not repeat it

Aradhana initiating the physical relationship was abit out of her character thats what i feel & it was shown to execute the sexual harassment allegations on Aradhana

I have never seen such a fast pace romance drama anywhere in the world let alone on Indian TV. I think writers of Barsaatein took the comment that ITV serials drag a lot too seriously that now they have written this script in such a pace that it becomes really difficult to believe in the plot line and in the main characters- Aradhana and Reyansh

U are right there is no doubt that soon Aradhna can also forgive Reyansh for what he has done by next weekend. Their love story is mostly unbelievable especially when Reyansh hates women. Aradhana sleeps with Reyansh even before they properly start their relationship which is out of their characters. Mayank already came to create misunderstandings and went too. There is also no suspense left in the show as well. We already know that why Reyansh hates his mother and that Aradhana is an adopted child. The only thing remaining seems to be seeing Aradhana's real parents and Reyansh's mother's lover.

Initially it was really great to see such high paced romantic drama serial but by now viewer may feel disconnected with the story and the main characters. It feels bizarre as to how fact all the events in the show is. I think Barsaatein should have been a web serial like Aashiqana in Hotstar. But no matter what the medium is the story should be believable which unfortunately it isn't anymore becoz there should be a proper journey of the leads falling in love. Here I could neither see the process of Aransh falling in love nor could relate or enjoy this romance and all the events henceforth.
