Watch the episode when you have time to cry because we all need to remember this when Abhi finally bursts and rains down on everyone. Today they all collectively murdered him into tiny little pieces. But I will still try to maintain my composure and write this.
Abhir asked Abhi to fulfill his wish of going back to kasauli with his parents. Abhi had no idea how to respond. Manjari and Ak tried to intervene by distracting Abhir with cake, but Abhir was adamant about getting an answer. Then Kairav the Great stepped in and told them all to stop being "mahaan" and that the kid deserves an answer. So Nishta took all the kids upstairs for the adults to talk.
First, today my respect for the Birlas has grown. They actually stood by Abhi and presented completely logical points. Abhir's higher education, Abhi being good for Abhir, and the fact that Abhir has only spent two weeks in Birla house, which is not enough to adjust anywhere, and he should be given more time. In contrast, the Goenkas are like, why is Abhir getting bad grades and running away - cause its been two weeks people! But Abhi really could not be bothered by all of this. He was just getting flashbacks of how unhappy Abhir is in Birla house. Then he just said BAS to everyone, went upstairs and got Abhir down. Meanwhile everyone is discussing what Abhi is going to say. He comes down, simply asks Abhir what he wants, and accepts it. Bas, done and dusted. He places Abhir's hand in Ak's hand and walks away.
My man, the dignity of Abhimanyu will always surprise and amaze me. He maintained his smile through everything for Abhir, so everyone to not feel bad on his behalf. Ak and Nav folded hands in front of Abhi - I don't get why they do this constantly. Like Abhi is ever going to care for that kind of, thank you. I hate when they do this, even back during Abhir's surgery - folding hands. What is wrong with you people?
But as Abhi is walking back people come and talk to him to tell him what a great sacrifice this is - as if he doesn't already know. Parth talks about how this is really hard to do, and Abhi should not make an emotional decision. He asks what about the court order, and Abhi smiles and just says he will tell them he cannot take responsibility of his own son. "How can I not fulfill my son's wish?"
This also ensures that Abhi can never fight for Abhir's custody anymore cause he backed down here. This is why he was fighting; this is why he was holding on. But ofc logic can go to shit, right?
Finally, BP the great tells Abhi that he always does the unexpected, and this must be really painful - no shit BP. He also said you have shown that even a father can sacrifice like a mother. Abhi just smiled at everything! Then cake cutting, oh, the atrocities they did in this episode. Abhir first gave cake to Ak, and then Ak herself told him to give cake to Abhi. So I guess this is her acknowledging Abhi as Abhir's father, and more importantly, this means that only when she says will Abhir ever do that himself. No matter what efforts Abhi puts in, it's pointless. Anyways, Abhir came to give cake and then asked Abhi if he can just call him docman - so he again demoted and took away dadda position. Docman is his best friend and protector. Ok, kid, you do that - eventually he is only going to be your father.
Abhi then finally finally got a call and walked out. He immediately fell to the ground and got flashbacks of Abhir calling him dadda and stuff. Ak came from behind and saw and feels bad.
In conclusion - Abhi is dead. He was already dead after white day; now he is even more dead.
