Mine too! Handled toxic masculinity brilliantly. Also, the coffee shop scene was a masterpiece. I still remember it even after 11 years.

Yeah the coffee shop scene was art and had a social message beautifully integrated into it!

Also, the last speech at the end of the movie where she fumbles in English but makes her point masterfully is epic!

I just wish the ending had been different but I guess that is the reality of middle aged desi women with young kids

EV and DZ Had important portions of daughters and mothers. Also, female agency.

Just like Greta's films.

So in that sense, yes. They are similar .
