Alice In Borderland, Kiss that Kills, , Hana Yori Dango is highly recommend but I know you won't watch it cause it's too old but try to watch it😆,Hana Nochi Hare. I've to remember all the Jdramas I've seen cause it's been a while and I don't remember some the names.

Thanks! Yeah I have heard so many times that Hana Yori Dango is lot better than Boys Over Flowers but didn't get to watching it earlier . I will definitely be checking that out.

Also add Hana Kimi and Gokusen in the list. These are old dramas but hilarious.

Never got the hype of k drama or k pop.

Romance is so bland, absolutely nothing to look forward to.

Yeah another pseudo nationalist who thinks one hates India just because one criticised wannabe web series and representation of Indians on Netflix.

Yawn. Jog ahead.

Live in your pseudo nationalist bubble and act like Gandhi's 3 monkeys when it comes to any nuanced critique of anything Indian.

Your choice. But do not expect others to forever act like Mera Bharat Mahaan songs shown every minute on Doordarshan.

I praised Panchayat, Dahaad, TVF content but just said Netflix ones were wannabe and here comes deshbhakt accusing of 'India hating'. Slow claps.

I do not take anyone seriously who believes in myths like Akhand Bharat or canards like Nepal being part of India.

Nepal has always been a sovereign kingdom.

It was never ever ruled by anyone else and Nepal govt took offense when Adipurush showed Sita as daughter of India.

So do not teach me.

Keep ranting about regional stars who no one knows outside even their states within India or any myths you see on Whatsapp or right wing YouTube and Twitter accounts.

I can see this thread has riled up lot of pseudo nationalists and ethno chauvinists whose own egos are hurt.

Not my problem.

Stay away fron the thread if you find it offensive and do not tag me. No one forced you to respond here or derail it with pseudo nationalist political myths like Akhand Bharat.

Other members have posted good links to bust these myths. Refer to those, rather than repeating that reference here again.

Thanks and Ciao.

South Korea becoming a global beauty powerhouse:

This is something not seen with any other non western nation before. Or their brands, skin/hair care routines or people aspiring to look like them. Prior to this only western standards and beauty brands or skin and hair have been famous worldwide or been some aspirational ideal. How K beauty, K dramas, K pop etc became so popular and that too within such a short span of time in a decade is something I was curious about and wondering why South Asian one never got that famous and what do Koreans do to market their stuff or appeal to others that our region does not do.

Lol no I'm not talking about other countries, only Korea. Because I have been following them for a long time, I can say that in kdramas, they think knowing English and talking in English is very cooln😂
