Well in your main post and many other posts you wrote about "trends" mainly. Only Very later just like in last page only you are citing other sources for their global popularity and reach or how their music, entertainment, etc., took the world over storm.

I'm out of this thread now, will come back tomorrow to talk about" Akhand bharath" if I get time. Until then Tata 👋

For me it was months ago when they said Dil Dhadakne Do was Ranveer and Anushka's movie and PC had a small role in it 😆

Disagree. They don't speak English bcoz they don't know English. It's their optional subject.Koreans also think speaking English is cool like they show in dramas .

What about Kpop? It's not original. K-pop gets a lot from Western music. They just throw in random English words and stuff, and it kinda feels cringy.

Most of them doesn't even know English, they don't bother much about learning the language. The idols you see speaking in English are mostly born in western countries or went there for school/uni.

Kpop includes English words in their songs just to sound like western songs maybe or to capture the international market. I'm talking about Korea in general.

That makes no sense.

Italian, German, Turkish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Persian movies are also in their own respective languages. Are you trying to tell us none of them know English? I don’t understand this need to put English on a pedestal. It’s a language not a status symbol.
