There's this small sequence when Ken asks Barbie if he could stay for the night at her place and she's like no, it's girls night/sleepover kinda thing. Ken is like what about me, I don't get to stay with you. Barbie is like what are we gonna do? Ken's like idk, we'll chat and sleep, I guess. So Barbie says no, me n my girlfriends/barbies are gonna have fun, see you tomorrow.

So this 30ish second scene might've been "inappropriate" for the ages but tbh, it was so proper. It showed how children know the adults do something at night but don't know what exactly is being done. That's the whole point of the first sequence, it's literally a basic roleplay most kids do.

Thanks for reminding me that. But how's that inappropriate for a 13+, I donno.

Juhi must have just wanted to garner some attention using the movie.

Hehe, true.

We had a 11-12 yo girl with her mum right next to our seats and she thoroughly enjoyed the movie. She even understood the monologue and the ending.

but that scene was there in the trailer too..and it was actually so sweet..both Ken and Barbie being totally clueless about the whole what happens in the night thing 😆 it’s like we asked her parents..how do babies come to the world..when we were kids 🤪😆 and then imagine someone blasts us for making sexual connotations for that question..🤣

I didn't see the trailers but yeah, that's the only scene that is remotely problematic if you overthink. Baki kuch nahi tha😆
