Why do ITV couples not trust and share things with each other?

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum but I've been following this show since the day it started. After today's precap, idek what to say anymore. Going by the precap, Reyansh will doubt Aradhna because he saw her at the hotel with Mayank but is this really what true love is? Even with Aradhna, she could have easily told the truth instead of hiding her whereabouts and that wouldn't lead to these stupid misunderstandings. And then Rey dropping the bomb with that video tape is something completely opposite what you would do to someone that you love. It's actually quite unacceptable and disappointing from the makers to be showing a male lead doing all this when he will be forgiven later on. When a couple is truly in love, both sides need to show an equal amount of trust and respect for the other person and this is something that ITV has always lacked in showing. True love should be about sharing and caring and helping each other come out of problems together and not adding misunderstandings amongst each other. I just don't get why these show makers can't show and promote the true meaning of love instead of obsessing over creating misunderstandings and rifts between the couple and adding an infinite amount of separation tracks to the plot. Sure there are problems in every relationship, but when you doubt someone, shouldn't you be communicating it with the other person and resolving it instead of going to a conclusion at first hand. Is the ITV audience really okay with watching whatever gets shoved down their throat in the name of love? I am someone who has a lot of faith in true love in real life whether that's one sided or reciprocated which is why for once I want to see makers portraying that the right way. If there's a genuine reason for a separation, I get it. But with these half baked misunderstandings, it just gets tiring to see the same thing in every other show. I am going to keep a little bit of hope that the precap might just be misleading, but given that it's an EK show I have my expectations quite low.

If they trust and share everything with each other, how the misunderstandings happen?

It's an ITV rule. If they want misunderstandings, then the couple need to hide things.

Today, nothing would have happened if she told him what she was doing and with whom.

Shivangis yrkkh ran for 5 years all thanks to the misunderstandings created between the lead

Misunderstandings and separations are needed to run the show for longer period😒

Atleast this show won't run for that long and would wrap up within a year..

Misunderstandings are fine, people have trust issues in real life as well. What is not fine is that they are not openly communicating to resolve these misunderstandings. And just because of one small misunderstanding, nobody has the right to belittle the other person or publicly lower their dignity. Aradhna and Reyansh are shown to be in love here (let's put aside the pace of the show for a moment and believe that they are really in love), and if you truly love someone you would never stoop so low so as to demean the other person. You might say without misunderstanding there would be no story, but that's because writers these days really lack at creating plots based on situational crisis rather than making the characters complicate their own life by acting toxic and immature.

I can't disagree with you there but i really wish that wasn't the case.😭 Every show should have a beginning and an end but that is too much to expect from ITV I guess.

Well Reyhansh certainly has trust issues unless its not an act.He proposed to her on the spot and even the couple engaged in those things which normally is done after the weddings.Reyhansh thinks that his mom Kadambari does not love him and he let loose those emotions in front of Aradhana.While no doubt both were attracted to each other and it was not wrong on their part to engage in such an intimate scene after the respective Love Confessions question is why is Reyhansh assuming things about Aradhana once he saw her in the hotel room with her ex?

Will Reyhansh even hear her out? Also Aradhana on her part lied to Reyhansh about meeting her ex in that Hotel Room owned by Reyhansh's Colleague perhaps.But the way Reyhansh has dealt with the assumed Betrayal or say is gonna deal with it is wrong.If he has felt betrayed by her actions why did he not confront her then and there and ask her about the same?

Aradhana already in love did not want to lose Reyhansh hence she lied about the same but even she was wrong on her part.Love is not always about Magical Confessions but its about Trust too.

If Reyhansh has trusted Aradhana with all his heart then she should have told him the truth about her past relationship.Same way Reyhansh needs to come clean regarding his Casanova Image.

Both are gonna hurt each other or should I say that its Aradhana who's gonna bear the major brunt on her part.If Reyhansh's confession that day was indeed genuine then even he needs to think that if he has chosen to love a girl not only that he even planned to marry Aradhana and make her his wife then he should have heard her out before taking any Rash action against her which could only make him lose her.

Reyhansh's stupid actions is only gonna make Aradhana drive out of his life.Hope he somehow gets her back someday.

Because otherwise there would be no drama😆. This is an example of a toxic relationship that unfortunately happens a lot in real life. I do think there needs to be better messages shown in some shows but I also get the aspect of creative freedom without being concerned about social messages.

Here Rey is not misunderstanding her, he is understanding her but just in the wrong way. There is no doubt in him if he can do this, he is pretty sure that she is cheating him that's why, this is happening.

@red

That I agree. No itv couple sit and talk, all they do it, do and regret and maybe redempt too.

@Green

I'm really not sure about this. We all are tend to do act upon our anger and here it's Rey, he is in so many ways faulty and he is someone who has alot of pend up frustrations, emotions inside him. I don't feel anything out of place for his this way of hurting her, but what he is doing is wrong, I agree on that.

It's not pointless, what I see is something anyone could do ( in love or not). Everyday we see these kind of news on TV, don't we?

Recently I saw one, just because a girl rejected a boy, he killed her father on the previous night of her wedding. What I'm saying is, we humans are capable of stopping so low. It's just the maturity that matters and maybe the upbringing too.

@ And on that last point, I completely agree.

That's why I don't usually watch the itv shows after the confession of the leads. The journey towards the love is fun to watch, they even share things but after that, the next day onwards they are like, we are in love, we need to misunderstand each other so that we need to hide things and go behind each other.

Reality can be really messed up sometimes, I agree. But the fact that they will show the male lead doing all these disgusting things only for the female lead to fall in love with him later on is ridiculous. Also, I really don't think it's true love if it makes you do such vile things in real life or in a fictional show. Sometimes people do have mental issues or childhood trauma that causes them to behave a certain way that isn't in line with what we accept as a society. But using that as a justification or excuse for their wrongdoings, or harming others whether thats mentally or physically, is simply unacceptable and this is something that people get taught in law schools and med schools as well. What Rey is doing is equivalent to mental torture for Aradhna because nobody should be going out revealing such intimate moments in the public like that. I'm not giving a clean chit to Aradhna either for hiding the truth, but what Rey is about to do is much worse.
