Even Punjabi good looks are overrated.

All they have is fair skin and good height.

Everyone looks bulky and women also look bulky, muscular and hardly lean or with sharp features. A lot of Punjabi women look manly and less feminine. And Punjabis have also have big teeth.

I have never seen a Punjabi woman with sharp and delicate features like Ash, Waheeda Rehman, Sadhana, Leela Naidu etc.

Punjabis also have heavier frame, tendency to gain weight and deeper voices.

The command over language is also questionable as Punjabis always speak Hindi with a Punjabi accent or laced with Punjabi. The bad pronunciation of Hindi and Urdu is a clear giveaway that actor is Punjabi.

I mean just hear how Akshay Kumar or Ayushmaan speak dialogues. Contrast it to pronunciation of Amitabh, Pankaj Tripathi.

Oh yeah I have read about Japanese shows, cartoons, anime, video games, insanely popular back then and India also had some dubbed Japanese shows on DD and Zee in early 90s and late 80s.

To achieve that without internet and social media was a huge thing.

I agree with you. I think the world might be obsessed with Spanish horror movies taped on video cameras

The underlying premise that Korean entertainment has exploded in the mainstream because of how they look is entirely dumb. Kind of a pointless discussion as a whole.
