I think in BR Chopra's Mahabharat it is shown that in Dyut sabha Karn was the one who had humiliated Draupadi for having 5 husband's and was the first to talk about Vastra haran.

He also was egging on Dhusshasan ( ignore the spelling) to "kheech" Draupadi's saree...you can't see that in recent mahabarat shows...

Yes they were better, they showed Karna saying that women like Draupadi shouldnt hesitate even to strip off if asked by master, its then that Duryodhan orders the VH,

However they too didn't show that it was Karna who ordered for it, also they showed that during Goshala Yatra, Karna left to freshen up and get his weapons (not that he escaped leaving Duryodhan die) but before he could return Bheem Arjun had saved Duryodhan.

So yes they were better than today's whitewashing Karna but still he was presented as an overall good person with some negative traits

P.S. I think Puneet Issar and Pankaj Dheer had some chemistry they actually looked like they know each other in and out, emoted the friendship pretty well. What do you guys think? I never felt so with Ahem Arpit.

Although that eyelock of Mahir Zaan made me fall for them, hopefully DJK have something

Yes Puneet and Pankaj had a great chemistry. It really looked like a proper friendship between Karn and Duryodhan.

In the case of Aham and Arpit I felt that in the starplus version they showed more as a master and slave relationship. I did not like it.

Yes Puneet and Pankaj looked like two real friends interacting as equals. I so want to see them together in another show/movie, I am surprised they never worked together in 30 years.

Ahem I never felt was as strong as Arpit,I thought it was the issue of actor or that they didn't have proper chemistry, now that you say, probably that was intended Karna had to be like a slave to Duryodhan (next step in Karna glorification)

What i don't get about that NTR movie is thar he played all the three roles of Dury , Karn and Krishna so how come the "bhole bhale log" of 1958 didn't immediately assume that Dhiridhirasta ( both in movie and real) was a player and started this rumor that Dhiridhirasta is the dad of all these three since they all looked identical?

Yes in SP MB they shown Karna like indebted to Duryodhan nd giving his support unwantedly🤔

Was checking Mahir's imdb page and saw that vanshaj is not hos forst show , he dod some other show called choti sardaani in 2019...i remember reading about the name of theis show somewhere but never watched it...
