CHAPTER 3 - YUG MEETS ITI

Dhruv – "Tara, what is happening in this house? First, Vidya aunty is speaking normal, Yug behaves abnormal after coming here. And here is blood."

Tara – "I too could not understand, Dhruv. But we have to do our work."

Dhruv – "How can we do like this? This seems like we are in a haunted place."

Tara – "Please Dhruv, for us Yug is important. We have to bear all this. Please look after Yug. I'll see what is happening here."

Reluctantly, Dhruv goes to downstairs. To Tara's surprise, the wooden rusted door turns normal door.

Tara – "Something is wrong in this room. But whose blood is this?"

Tara, Dhruv and Yug have their lunch with Vidya Devi. The food is delicious. Tara and Dhruv are surprised that she could cook deliciously like a typical mother. Tara and Dhruv appreciate her. After lunch, three kids come to the house. Vidya Devi greets the children and gave some sweets. They eat the sweets.

Vidya Devi says, "Tara, these children are my neighborhood children. Let Yug to play with them so that he can get comfortable."

Tara – "Vidya Devi, Yug could not play with these kids. He is intellectually challenged."

Vidya Devi – "Intellectually challenged. What is this, Tara? Let him play with kids. He would be alright."

Tara – "Vidya Devi, how could I make her understand?"

Dhruv whispers to Tara, "Let him go with these children. I think instead of staying in this weird bungalow, he could play with the boys."

Tara feels Dhruv is right though she is reluctant. She decides to let him go. She requests the children to take care of Yug as he is too new for this place. Yug smiles and leaves with those kids. The kids took Yug to a ground for playing cricket.

As they started playing, Yug starts enjoying it and he gets attached to them.

Suddenly an ice cream rickshaw comes there. The three kids leave to taste ice cream. Yug sits on ground. He refused to have ice-cream even after asked by the three kids.

Behind the cricket ground, there is a big lake. Captivated by its beauty, Yug moves there. Suddenly, a hand patted his shoulder.

As he turned back, an appearance becomes slowly visible from leg to face. She is a little girl of Yug's age. Yug recognized her instantly, "Iti, you're here."

Iti smiles at Yug, "I'm back."

Iti holds Yug's hands and looks at the river.

Iti – "Yug, do you remember this river? We have so many memories along with this river."

Yug – "Iti, I know only you. But I can't remember this river."

Iti – "Yug, that is really good. Thankfully you forgot the past. Otherwise.."

Yug – "What?"

Iti – "Nothing. Do you know when I lost my mother, I was mute for a year."

Yug remains silent. Yug and Iti lay on grass viewing the clouds.

Yug – "Then what happened, Iti?"

Iti – "Then, you visited my birthday party. My father bought me a cage of beautiful love birds as my gift. But you came there and in front of me, you released the cage. As I was mute, I couldn't say anything."

Iti laughs. Yug smiles at Iti.

Yug – "Iti, why did I release the cage? I am so mad. Then, your gift is spoiled."

Iti – "Yug, how can you talk like this? Birds could not be caged. Birds need freedom to fly anywhere. That is the beauty of the world. You're the one who taught me this lesson."

Yug looks at her confused. Iti's face becomes dull. Yug feels some headache inside. He feels the flashes in his mind of what Iti said.

Yug – "Iti, something is disturbing my mind."

Iti – "Thankfully, you're speaking something well. I achieved my first goal. soon, you'll be alright, Yug."

Iti vanishes from the place. Yug faints but after five minutes he wakes up with some glow. He continues playing with the boys.

Evening time,

Dhruv is checking the medicines prescribed for Vidya Devi. It is a capsule where the tablet is powdered inside. There are three bottles full of different capsule type tablets. For morning, two capsules to be consumed post breakfast and one in night post dinner. He felt something wrong in the prescription.

Dhruv thinks, "Aunty is normal even though she is mentally unstable, what is the need of giving these much tablets. It would be enough if they inject Diazepam twice."

Dhruv thinks, "Vidya aunty is sleeping. I already forgot to give medicines in the morning. At least I should give at night."

Dhruv goes to garden where Tara is relaxing.

In kitchen, a beautiful young lady who doesn't have a shadow and legs are standing in the air appears. She looks for some box. She opens the upper shelf and takes a box. Inside the box, there is sugar. She dumps the sugar into a mixie and grinds it. With her power, she muted the sound of the mixie. She grinds the sugar crystals and it is made into a powder. A man of mid-thirties comes into the kitchen. The young woman looks at him and smirks. He too smiled. The man too doesn't have any shadow nor his legs rest on the floor.

He asks, "Mamta, is everything going to accordingly to our plan?"

Mamta says, "Yes, Shivraj ji. Everything is going to according to our plan. Vidya Devi won't consume the tablets given by Dhruv or Tara."

Shivraj and Mamta laughs.

The capsule jar from Dhruv's room flies from there and reaches Mamta's hand. Mamta and Shivraj sit there comfortably. By their powers, the capsule opens into two and the powder falls into a small jar and sugar powder gets into the capsule and it closes. After doing the same for all capsule, the capsule jar moves back to Dhruv's room. Mamta looks at the bowl where the original medicine dust is present. Shivraj and Mamta touches the powder.

Shivraj- "Now, Vidya Devi will not consume the so-called medicine. Only sugar powder. We shall deposit this so-called medicine powder in Garden."

Mamta – "But Shivraj ji, Tara and Dhruv are in garden."

Shivraj – "No problem. Our magic will deposit the powder there."

Shivraj and Mamta recites magical words and the medicine powder is deposited on every plant and tree in the garden.

Mamta – "Tara and Dhruv did a big mistake by coming here. This place is very dangerous. I think they won't go outside with their life."

Mamta and Shivraj vanishes.

Yug returns home with other kids. Tara is overjoyed seeing Yug is smiling. Dhruv feels relieved.

Yug speaks in a stammering tone "Mom, I have a very great day with these children. Especially Iti is too friendly with me."

Tara cries in happiness and Dhruv eyes shine. Yug hugs Tara and Dhruv.

Dhruv – "He is improving, Dhruv. He is speaking something else apart from his name and rhymes."

Dhruv kissed his cheeks. Yug too kissed his cheeks.

Tara – "Vidya Devi is the reason for our son's happiness."

Tara hugs Vidya Devi. They had a very good dinner which is cooked by Tara and Dhruv together. Yug goes to sleep. Dhruv gives capsule tablet to Vidya Devi. She had the tablets.

Vidya Devi asks Dhruv and Tara to sit near her. She caressed their hair.

Vidya Devi – "You said that you broke all ties with your family."

Dhruv – "But Vidya Devi ji..."

Vidya Devi – "What?"

Dhruv – "Why shall we speak about this, Vidya Devi? You shall sleep now. We can speak whatever tomorrow."

Vidya frowns at him. Dhruv gets embarrassed while Tara hides her laugh.

Vidya Devi – "Tara, please take the small rectangular box upside the cupboard."

Tara takes the box and gives it to Vidya Devi. Vidya Devi gives it to Tara and Dhruv and asks them to open it. Inside the box, there is some pieces of Zig-Zig puzzle. Vidya Devi asks them to join the puzzle pieces and solve it. Dhruv and Tara use their mind to join the pieces. But they could not join the puzzle.

Dhruv – "Aunty, it is too tough to solve. Your son Sanjeev is seriously intelligent to have these puzzles."

Vidya Devi – "Try for some more time."

After trying several times, they could join some pieces in the puzzles. They found that there is lacking of puzzle pieces.

Tara – "Vidya aunty, it is too much. Many puzzle pieces are missing, then how could we join the puzzle?"

Dhruv nods his head in support for Tara.

Vidya Devi – "Look child, our family is also like these puzzle pieces. It is full of happiness, proud, shame, self-respect, responsibilities, joy, anger, motivation, fear, pleasure, adjustments, pranks and silly jokes. Also importantly, family is like a puzzle. We should understand the puzzle and then only we could solve it. Same like, we should understand our family and then should solve our problems."

Dhruv interrupts, "Our family has only negative puzzle pieces like shame, anger etc with contrast to this game."

Vidya Devi smiles, "You should search for the positive pieces. It won't be hidden anywhere but in your family like house."

Tara looks at the box. She noticed that a cloth is covered the bottom. She removed the box and finds rest of the pieces.

Vidya Devi – "Hope you solve this puzzle piece and your puzzled family."

Tara and Dhruv solved the puzzle. Vidya Devi smiles along with Dhruv and Tara. Vidya Devi greets them to have a good night.

Dhruv and Tara come out of Vidya Devi's room.

Tara – "Dhruv, we are full of ego. We should take at least a single step to sort out our problems."

Dhruv – "But we should stand in our own legs before that."

They go to sleep.

In the terrace, Iti, Mamta and Shivraj are sitting.

Shivraj – "Where is Vishwanath ji?"

Mamta – "Dad will be come soon. Wait Shivraj ji."

Vishwanath comes visible to them. His face is full of anger and pain.

Vishwanath – "Are you sure that Vidya Devi consumed only sugar powder?"

Shivraj nods.

Vishwanath – "There is no problem if my wife Vidya didn't recover. We should warn the couple to get out of this house."

Mamta – "What shall we do now?"

Iti – "I think those couple are caring Yug as their son."

Shivraj – "We shall wait for some days."

Suddenly, they see Tara is covering herself with a blanket and going to the place where she found blood there. Nearby there is a small room. She enters into it.

Shivraj goes near her and hears what Tara is going to do.

Tara murmurs, "I should find whose blood is that by sneaking into that room."

Shivraj looks confused.

Vishwanath – "I played a prank on her by pouring blood in her legs morning."

Iti – "I tried to enter the room but I couldn't even step near it."

Mamta – "It was just a drawing room before but now we spirits could not step inside. We should find what is the problem in this room."

Tara takes a fake key and opens the door.

Flashback: Tara met a man to make key for a lock and she gives some money for that.

To her surprise, the room has some stairs that leads to underground. After coming down, she finds a big dark hall. There she hears a weird noise of an animal shouting minimally for food. Tara shivers. To her knowledge, she guessed there is some ferocious animal eats man. She puts the torch down and leaves the room in a hurry. She locked the room and breathes heavily

Iti, Shivraj, Vishwanath and Mamta look at Tara's feared expression.

Mamta – "Whatever it is, this is not our problem. For us, just the revenge matters."

The four of them laughs louder. Tara shivers and gets into the bed.

The flash from the torch that Tara left in the drawing room reflects on a board written "MANEATER"

CHAPTER 4 - GARDEN GETS DESTROYED

Tara thinks, "Something is there in this drawing room. It's dangerous better it is to be locked."

Tara hugs sleeping Dhruv tightly. Dhruv looks at her in sleepy manner. Looking at her horrified, he switched on the lights and gets up.

He asks, "What happened to you? Why are you horrified?"

Tara lies on him.

Tara – "Nothing, Dhruv. I just..."

Dhruv says, "Don't hide anything from me."

Tara – "I am saying nothing, right? Please don't ask any questions."

She hugs even tighter. Tara falls asleep. Dhruv releases Tara from his shoulder and he switch off the light.

The whole night is full of thunder and heavy rain.

The next day,

Vidya and Tara-Dhruv wakes up little later than the usual times as it is a winter season. Vidya and Dhruv had a very good sleep so they are brisk. While Tara is tired.

After freshening up, Vidya, "Tara beta, our terrace was stagnated with yesterday's rainwater. Please take three broomsticks from the storeroom. Let us swipe it."

Tara nods and gets into the room. Dhruv gets reminded of strange incident happened in front of locked door.

Dhruv – "Aunty, what is that room? Why is that locked always?"

Vidya says, "It was my daughter's room. She is in London. Without her the room is nothing, so she asked us to lock the room."

Dhruv is shocked to hear that she has a daughter.

Dhruv asks, "What is her name? Sanjeev sir didn't say anything about it."

Vidya – "Her name is Mamta. Meri jaan."

Dhruv thinks, "Is it her illusion? Is that the reason she is under doctors?"

Mamta comes in front of Vidya but in an invisible state and says, "I am not in London. I am just in front of you, mom."

She weeps. Dhruv and Vidya sit on the sofa.

Tara finds the dusty broomsticks. She removes the dust. She washes her hands in the room's sink. Accidentally, the soap falls. She didn't mind. After washing her hands, she takes the broomsticks and starts to walk. She suddenly slips because of that soap and clashed against the wall strongly. The wall is cracked a little which shock Tara.

She realizes that it is a slab and hits it a little. It breaks and there is a space. She gets inside.

Tara thinks, "Is it a house or doremon's pocket? Like the drawing room, this storeroom is also a mystery. What are all these things?"

She sees a big glass dusty shelf. She opens it and it is full of dresses, basic items like toothbrush, toothpaste, some author's books, medical prescriptions, etc. While moving the dress, she notices a Red Velvet diary with pen.

Though it looks pretty, it is partially with blood stains inside and some papers are partially torn. She hides the diary and moves from there and she hides the space with cloth.

Dhruv, Vidya and Tara cleaned the stagnated water in the terrace. Tara looks at the garden. Almost all plants are withered their leaves and the trees becomes weak and almost the garden looks horrific.

The three are shocked.

Dhruv asks, "How did these plants and trees die even after such a heavy rain?"

Tara – "No worries, Aunty. We'll plant new plants."

Vidya – "But how did these plants die?"

Dhruv pacifies them and he takes them down.

Yug asks Dhruv, "Mom Dad, shall I play with my friends?"

Dhruv – "Sure beta. Come before 4'o clock."

Yug nods and goes outside.

Iti comes behind Yug and pats his shoulder and she smiles. He too smiles.

Yug asks, "Iti, you're here. We shall play now."

Iti asks Yug, "I am going to take you to one special place?"

Yug – "Oh wow, we shall go."

Iti takes Yug to a small beautiful garden.

At a corner, there is a sack of sand looks like gravery graveyard.

Yug – "Iti, it seems beautiful but looks like graveyard gravery."

Iti ' "Yug, there are seven graveries graveyards. These are of your pet animals. Pinky, your parrot, Golu, your mouse, Chirpu, you cat, two dogs, rabbit and one pigeon. You love them as much as you loved us"

Yug – "Mine? I am fond of animals. But why do I not remember this place nor Golu, Pinky etc. Whose place is this?"

Iti – "It was your house once, Yug. You know how you loved these animals and so you created a beautiful garden on their memory. You cried when you shown the garden to me six months ago."

Yug – "How do you know me? We became friend only on yesterday."

Iti creates bubbles through her magic and the one of the bubbles enter into Yug's head.

Iti – "You would remember your past gradually. Before that remember. Tara aunty and Dhruv uncle are your parents. Don't hurt them after regaining your memory."

Yug – "Promise. But however, I get a memory. Why can't you say who am I? It is ridiculous though."

Iti says, "Yug, we met each other on my birthday party. I was partially mute because of the shock that my mom was deceased. My father took me to many doctors but in vain. You came there to perform Ramleela drama. I smiled after a year post mom's death due to your drama."

Iti continued.

Iti – "You got a sudden interest in me as I seemed weird and snooty."

Yug smiles.

Iti – "My evil cousin shown my mom's death video (that's a fire accident recorded in public camera). That time you saw me fainted and you found the reason why I am mute. You took a mission to cheer me up."

Iti continues.

"You gifted me one selfmade house by you. "

"You introduced your friends to me. You succeed in it. I spoke Yug... I spoke. I shouted your name first. You took me to the same lake where I met you yesterday. You know I shouted your name after seeing a snake near you. But later I came to know it is your friend. Weird."

Yug and Iti laughs.

Iti – "I must thank my life to have such a friend like you."

They both look at the river and shouts "Thankyou Zindagiii".

Iti tears in joy.

Yug becomes teary eyed and asks, "Then what happened?"

Iti – "Its time now, Yug. Tara aunty must be searching you."

Yug bids bye to Iti.

Iti says, "Then Shivraj uncle comes in between us as Shivraj and our lives become hell."

Yug comes to his house.

Yug hugs Tara and Dhruv and says, "Mom and Dad, I brought you something."

Yug gives a lotus to Dhruv and Tara. They smile. Tara compliments him and kissed his forehead.

Dhruv – "Yug beta, come with papa. We can play Ludo."

They go.

Garden

Iti comes to Mamta.

Iti – "Didi, Yug would remember everything very soon. Only by using Yug, we could save Tara aunty and Dhruv uncle from the monster Sanjeev."

Mamta nods, "How would you convince Yug after knowing that we're a spirit."

Iti becomes dull.

Vishwanath – "Sanjeev still has not given up his hope of killing his mother even after that incident."

Mamta – "Mom is his burden actually. This kind of man deserves death."

Vishwanath – "It's our fault to give birth to him. Vidya forgot the past because of the shock. But we should save Vidya."

Mamta and Vishwanath look at the garden of dead plants.

Vishwanath – "Tara and Dhruv didn't understand that they came here not to treat Vidya but to kill her with those so called actual 'poisonous' capsules."

Tara's room.

Tara locked the room and takes the Red Velvet Diary and the pen. The pen doesn't seem very old. She opens and writes. It's not writing. She opens ink tank and finds something red thick like glue. She tries to pour, but the thick fluid doesn't flow. She takes ear cleaning bud and insert into ink tank. Something red is sticked to bud and she takes it out. To her horror, it is blood which is months or years old.

Tara shivers, "The pen is filled with human blood as ink."

Tara hides the pen and opens the diary.

In Introduction page, it is mentioned as Dr. Saveer Roy, Psychologist. 29 years old, Single, orphan, renowned doctor.

She looks at his photo (Arjun Bijlani).

Tara - "So he is one of the two doctors who treated Vidya Devi."

She reads the diary completely.

She tells, "I should find the second doctor who treated Vidya"

Tara sneaks into the storeroom's hidden area and search for something related to the second doctor.

She finds a cassette tape labelled as 'Shyamli'. She inserted the tape into the cassette and plays.

With a hussy voice it starts as I'm Dr Shyamli. This place is not safe for humans. I won't be there in this world when you play this cassette. Please get out of here... Please"

CHAPTER 5 - SCARECROW MURDER

With a hussy voice it starts as I'm Dr Shyamli. This place is not safe for humans. I won't be there in this world when you play this cassette. Please get out of here... Please... I came here for fulfilling my revenge. But my death has neared me. I don't know whether police could find the cassette. If so, I would admit that this place is full of evil spirits and another one creature in the drawing room." A voice screams loudly in the cassette and then there is a scream in Shyamli's voice.

Horrified Tara throws the cassette away. She gets reminded of the blooded leg , garden's horrible look and that included with the scary noises in the cassette.

She says to herself, "I should inform this to police. Also, I should seek justice for Dr. Shyamli. Vidya aunty seems to be a fraud."

The blankets in the shelf falls on Tara. The same scary voice is heard by Tara. Mamta appears there and holds Tara's neck. Mamta's look changes into a ghost one and she scares her.

Tara screams but none could hear her voice. Vidya and Dhruv are speaking their fables.

Tara's leg is tied to the ceiling and her head is pointed at bottom. Tara screams louder.

Mamta says, "You're sinful. You are supporting the doctors who treated my mom. They deserve death. Finally, you know the truth, you too deserve death. I spare you as you're not at mistake. But not anymore."

She smirks.

Vishwanath and Shivraj reaches there and tried to stop Mamta. Mamta didn't stop.

Vishwanath says, "She is the one who raise our Yug hereafter. We have to protect her but you are going to kill her."

Shivraj says, "Mamta, please stop it. She is innocent. You can make her forget what had happened earlier."

Mamta comes back to her normal state. She spells a magic on Tara so that she could forget what had happened to her earlier. Mamta takes Tara to the place where blanket fall on her.

Vishwanath, Mamta and Shivraj leaves the room. Tara gets consciousness and she takes the cassette and moves to her room.

Dhruv comes to the room.

Tara asks, "Dhruv, where were you? I could not see since morning post cleaning the terrace."

Dhruv – "I should ask this to you, Madam. You were roaming around this house since morning but you didn't see that Vidya and I are relaxing at living room. What are you doing in the store room?"

Tara stammers – "Actually, I was searching for my earrings which I left somewhere else. Now I found."

She points her earring and smiles at him.

Tara – "Do you feel any supernatural spirits roaming around here and there?"

Dhruv laughs – "You're too much. But I too feel like that."

Dhruv thinks something and takes his phone and go through something.

Dhruv – "Tara, this app EMF GHOST DETECTOR could find whether ghost is existing here or not?"

Tara laughs at him. Seeing how beautifully she is laughing, Dhruv gets lost in her. He kissed her cheeks to Tara's surprise.

They have an eye lock. (Dhruv Tara BGM plays)

Breaking the eye lock, Tara asks, "Dhruv, you're just impossible. If there are any ghost spirits, people would call church father, priest from Goddess Durga Temple and they would conduct yagna and they would control. But you are using one phone application."

Dhruv – "My friends had used this earlier when they gone to a forest house. There something supernaturally happens and then they used this app and detected the ghost presence. Then they ran away."

Tara looks at him weird.

Dhruv – "Open this app first. Then if you point this towards someone or someplace, it will show some dots. If there are 1-3 dots, then there is no problem. If the dots exceed more than 3, there is a spirit."

Tara smiles at him again but agrees to his plan.

Dhruv points at Tara, 2 dots are shown and vice-versa Dhruv gets 2 dots. Vidya gets 3 dots. Vidya looks at them confusedly. They tested similarly in drawing room (in front of door), storeroom, kitchen, garden and it gets less than three dots. They go to the terrace. It shows five dots. The four spirits are roaming the terrace and they looked at the couple confusedly. Tara and Dhruv smiles seeing the phone but inside they are horrified and goes to their room.

Tara – "Something is wrong in the terrace."

Dhruv and Tara run fast to the main gate of the house. They point their phone in front of the door. It shows 12 dots and their phone got hanged.

Dhruv – "This is the usual problem of my phone. It got hanged. What the hell."

Dhruv and Tara gets inside.

Tara thinks of the incident that happened in the storeroom, "I remember everything happened in the storeroom that someone tied my leg in the ceiling and face faces the ground and even she shouted at me. Also, she spells some magic on me to forget everything but nothing works on me. How could it be possible?"

The lotus given by Yug to Tara falls from her waist.

Next day,

Tara is waiting for someone in the park anxiously.

Tara – "Thank you so much for sparing your time for Vandana."

Vandana (Kruthika Desai) – "Come on, Tara. We're very good friends at school and how would I refuse to spare time for you in such a horrible situation? Unfortunately, you chose a wrong place for job."

Tara gets dull.

Vandana asks, "I am living here for 10 years. So, I have idea on what's going on. What do you want to know from me?"

Tara – "I want to know what the society thinks about Mrs. Vidya Devi and her Monsoon Cottage."

Vandana – "Vidya Devi was quite popular here and also people respect her. She is very kind-hearted and sweet. Her cottage was also running really well. But after the untimely demise of her family members, nobody wishes to meet her. She is mentally unstable. Her son Sanjeev has a lot of girl admirers in this area and he is a Casanova and rarely you find him not accompanied by girls. Sanjeev closed the business of cottage after his family's death and appointed two doctors for her treatment and they got killed."

Tara – "How did the doctors die?"

Vandana –"No, not at all. Both of them are murdered cruelly and the killer is unknown. Even their family was not allowed to look at their body or to perform last rites."

Tara – "Is there someone who could tell me more about Saveer and Shyamli? I read Saveer's diary but nothing is mentioned properly and whatever is mentioned well is torn like some animal ate the book."

Vandana – "You mean, there is something else apart from spirits."

Tara – "Yes. How are their bodies are identified?"

Vandana tries to remember.

Vandana – "Saveer was covered by some clothes fully and he was tied as scarecrow like that."

Vandana shows a scarecrow in the agricultural fields.

Vidya – "Shyamli was found also in the same manner but something more is happened to Shyamli. I am pretty sure about that."

Tara – "Is it your guess?"

Vandana – "No, it's pretty sure. She was already mysterious when she entered the house. Then Before three days of her death, she was drowned in a village well. We saved her but she behaves rude and claimed that someone is trying to murder her. Before two days of her death, she danced in the street like she was possessed. Then after one day, we got news of her death. We don't know how it has happened or when".

After taking a deep breathe, Vandana continued.

Vandana - "You should leave the cottage immediately with Dhruv and Yug, Tara. It's not safe."

Tara – "Okay Vandana. But one more favor please..."

Vandana - "What favour?"

Tara – "May I know who did the post-mortem for Saveer and Shyamli?"

Vandana – "Tara......"

Tara pleads.

Vandana – "It was Dr. Isha from Sanjivani hospital. I know only that. There are possibilities that whoever seen the body are dead surprisingly. Whatever you're doing is good but be careful."

Vandana leaves.

Tara dials a number and calls. The call gets connected.

"Its Dr. Isha speaking from Sanjivani hospital."

Tara face glows.

Tara – "Hi Isha. I am Tara, your college mate."

Isha gets excited and happy, "Hello half mental Tara."

Tara – "Isha, you haven't changed a bit."

Isha – "Obviously I haven't. Anyways, how are you? And sorry that I didn't recognize as I lost my contacts recently. How are your parents? How is Dhruv?"

Tara – "Isha, I am in Ooty now. I want to talk to you about something serious. In fact, I need your help."

Isha – "I'll send you the address. Let's meet at 3PM."

Tara – "Thanks a lot, Isha."

Tara hangs the call.

At 3pm, Violet cafe,

Tara and Isha are drinks coffee.

After completing their informal talks, Tara asked, "Isha, do you know Saveer and Shyamli who treated Mrs. Vidya Devi?"

Isha looks at her horrified.

Isha – "Why are you asking about her?"

She sweats.

Tara said whatever happened except supernatural experiences.

Isha gets angry, "You've chosen a wrong place for job."

Tara – "Please understand me, Isha. How are Saveer and Shyamli murdered? I want to know, please."

Isha – "As a doctor, we were taught how to deal with deadbodies without getting scared. But when I did Saveer's post-mortem, I could not even work properly for one week. Shyamli's case is too worst. I was compelled to perform post-mortem for her."

Tara interrupts, "Is it by Vidya Devi?"

Isha – "No way, a human could not murder like this. We were compelled to give a report that Vidya Devi killed Saveer and Shyamli in a mental asylum. But culprit is someone else."

Tara – "Please say how they are murdered."

Isha – "Saveer is stabbed 7 times in his stomach. There is a big hole in his head that is created by a big nail. His hands and feet flesh are eaten by someone."

Tara – "What? Eaten?"

Isha – "Yes, his feet bones and hand bones are left and as I could find teeth marks in his bones. The teeth are not of human ones. Its sharp and it gets deeply into the bone. Rest of body flesh are not eaten. Then, as you know, he is covered through a cloth and tied as a scarecrow. For your kind information, those people who had seen his body are dead now."

Tara – "Saveer's murder is very horrifying. How did the witnesses died?"

Isha – "I don't know."

Tara – "Please brief Shyamli's case as well."

Isha – "You won't leave me it seems. Her murder is the most heartbreaking incident for me. She was my relative too."

She whispers into Tara's ears how she got murdered.

Tara – "It is like blood is coming from my ears. It's too horrible. How could someone kill a lady to this extent? What could be the motive?"

Tara thinks for some time.

Tara – "Thankyou so much Isha for helping me. Bye."

Isha – "Bye Tara."

Tara leaves.

Isha tells herself "Sorry Tara. It's for your good that I didn't disclose that Shyamli is Saveer's lover."
