She opened the balcony door a little to peep into the drawing room and look at the wall clock. Arnav would be home in another two hours. And then, after having a rather steamy kissing session that she enjoyed every minute of, he would leave her to bury himself in the additional work for some software he had been obsessively working on. It would be another few hours before he joined her in bed and then began the after-dark escapades that she secretly looked forward to. Secretly because he did not need to have another weapon in his arsenal to tease and make her blush. He had already been doing plenty of that—with his words, his touch, and his lips.

The thought alone was enough to make her heart beat faster. What kind of sorcery was that?

"Besharam", Khushi admonished herself smilingly before she walked back inside and looked at the kitchen that now resembled a factory. Tomorrow was going to be another busy day for her. But she was solely to be blamed for this workload.

Yes 💯 agree he was a cad there. That is his worst mistake.he stonewalled her, assumed things and he is going to have to move mountains if he wants Khushi to forgive him for that treatment if she ever. There are no two ways about it. They need a lot of work on themselves and on the marriage. Especially arnav

Wow Swati that is a beautiful poem. Arnav truly truly lucked out with her. And this song is one of my absolute favorites, and fits the story so well, as well :)

Sorry to jump in the conversation, but my understanding was he was contemplating divorce because, they both yes khushi was unhappy too. They did fight about the baby issues. She clearly wrote after their fight about baby and him not attending puja in Lucknow in August 2014 was the first time he slept in study. They both internalise their true feelings. The moment khushi sensed he gets upset about baby topic she stopped that topic and started skirting around the issues. Arnav loved her enough to fight his demons and get her pregnant. She didn’t go for it because she loved him but still never told him about.not stopping pills (even till their last sane conversation ) he had all the reasons to believe khushi wanted baby more than anything. HE DIDN’T DECIDE ON DIVORCE. He was contemplating that’s what he told to Aakash “ in future me and khushi MIGHT not be together” he is no robot to let her go without feeling broken. He ended up kissing khushi the same night he told Aakash!! He stayed in the rave because he loved khushi so much that it was painful to the extent that he felt suicidal. Everything after that was fire fight, he told mala to assure about child’s future, because after this he didn’t see anyway to tie khushi to himself anymore. He didn’t serve her divorce notice, he was advised for divorce lawyers because he asked IF his biological child has more rights than his divorced wife AGAIN contemplation not decision !!!! Payal saw this and she and Aakash made 2+2=24!!! He never intended to decide about divorce alone otherwise he would have served her divorce notice!!!! Khushi got the pictures and his rude behaviour (here too it’s khushi’s thoughts. For him he felt guilty to meet her eyes knowing he has done biggest sin against her ) made her believe it, even in her conversation with Aman she said there must be some misunderstanding. After that when she asked Arnav about lawyers she didn’t let him explain why he has lawyers. They both don’t talk and a third person or there might be a fourth person took advantage of this. But he never served her divorce notice!!!

Even Aman thought the whole divorce thing came up because Arnav thinks lavanya is pregnant. Didn’t he say after he let him know the truth that aren’t he going to bring khushi bhabhi back!!!

And he hates himself for being vile to her. So he decides that he would talk to her after she returns from Lucknow about the divorce. Yes , definitely we are reading the same story. To me I feel Arnav was planning to let her go, so it makes sense to not have any emotional dependency on her. When aakash said tell khushi, Arnav was sure she will blame herself for not being there with Arnav when he went through so much.
