Innocent navrangvan didn't understand or couldn't teleport water from other place that's why it thought to take from its free passengers

He is dumb then cos Dhruv isn’t a cheater and how is it Dhruvs fault that sage couldn’t get a loyal partner? He is a biased old man - I would be happy if after this curse drama we never see him again.

Mildly interesting to note that both Mahavir and the Maharani had doubts in their minds about all the obstacles taking place, but Maharaj seemed pretty determined to ensure that the whole thing went ahead (and didn't express any doubts)

Probably the least he could do after handing Mrityudand out like candy I suppose!

But this also sort of explains why it was necessary to tell him that Dhruv is a time traveller.
