Mere paas English mein American batman, spiderman, superman aur Indian Diamond comics (Chacha Chaudhry, etc), Tinkle, Amar Chitra Katha the.... Lekin kisi mein woh maza nahin tha jo Hindi ke Raj Comics mein tha... Desi kahaniyaan .. desi mythology se inspired (must I say respectfully, unlike Bollywood. so instead of directly going to Lord Shiva, these were innocuous in using mythological concepts like ichhadhaari snakes, Guru Gorakhnath etc.), aur desi setting mein. Plus mishr(Egypt) ka kaafi influence hota tha....

Main shabdon mein bayaan nahin kar sakta yeh mere dil ke kitne qareeb hain

Next Tinkle bhi kaafi mast tha. I loved Suppandi and Shikari Shambu

Aur inke baad aatay Chacha Chaudhary. Tbh jab mein chhota tha (primary/elementary) this was my most favorite..

Mahabharat - Main ghar mein kuchh bhi karrelau aur sudden mein aawaaz gunji "Mahaaabhaaarat.... Mahaaabhaaarat.... O O O... Mahabhaarat". Poore body mein bijli ka current daud jaata tha... saara kaam chhod ke I used to run in front of the TV. Uske start mein shlok tha... "Yadaa yadaa hi dharmasya..." - I used to LOVE that shlok... aaj bhi mujhe kanthasta hai....

Ek aur show tha jiska opening jingle sunte hi body energize ho jaata tha... "Jungle jungle baat chali hai pata chala hai...." 😎
