Also I remembered something. Manali investigated Arnav in 2009 and her information was that Arnav lived alone with no wife in picture. That’s a Googly for sure. This made Lavanya go crazier behind Arnav because she also thought he was available. Except Khushi showed up at the premier and MALA left. Manali also said her informants were wrong and she was sorry. What the hell was that?????

I think he mentions his reason, or atleast hints at it. Wait hang on, let me scourge through it:

For 2009: Sooo I did read this part too today, sometime ago. It looks like Khushi was in Lucknow for extended period of time. And also Lavanya notices Arnav "stiffening" at mention of Khushi and reads into that that he is not happy.

I think this is exactly the time when something went wrong in Lucknow. Right around the movie premiere!

He is not giving any clean chit to her nor he believes she is a puppet but strongly believes all the lunatics dirty work is carried out by her sidekick.

At the premier they knew Khushi was absent from Mumbai and she is from a very small village and came up with their own assumptions.
