Like that Twitter user in the previous page whose post I quoted, I wonder what precisely they mean by milan. The obvious meaning (by ITV standards) would mean marriage + consummation, but would one of those two (without the other) still qualify as Milan? Maybe it's too difficult a question to ask of an ITV show. 😛

FWIW, they were as good as married in the 21st century (quasi marriage, quasi staying together in the same room, and even that quasi marriage photo with the fam).

And we've had 17th century dialogues from both Maharani and Tara where it's been said that Tara's already mentally accepted him as her to-be husband.................
