I think the confrontation between Arnav and Khushi might be next chapter. We will still get a flashback of Arnav on Monday in part B.

We might even get the whole flashback from lavanya/manali's POV too. But I hope before that we get the actual confrontation between arshi

Ok, finished reading it. But I have so much to say after this.

First will address only Arnav and that batshit lunatics part( going to call her BL from now on 😜).

I am very sure she was the one who had knowingly drugged Arnav, when he was calling Manali she might have slipped in his drink. My god she gave him Hallucinogen. I have read so much about this drug, and Arnav was pushing her but the drug showed it’s effect.

We all know she and Manali had set up the balcony.

If it was a girl who was drugged we all know what it is called. And you know for a man to go through something like this is much worse, one because they never realise they were forced to be intimate and that they they did not want it.

Second laws except few countries do not even recognise that adult men can be abused too. So it is always seen as a man’s fault. Plus the man in his guilt can ignore that their right to “No” was violated too.

I have read so much about it and it’s a very sensitive subject.

Now the photographs, their placement like, meeting in the restaurant, shantivan were placed before the balcony ones. BL knew about Khushi’s absence from Mumbai, she coming with her pregnancy news might have just been the last nail in the coffin.

All of this clearly shows the conspiracy and I feel it has more to do with BL than Manali.

Now, before reading the chapter I felt that I would be sympathetic towards Arnav , his life struggles etc.

And I am for the drugged part but honestly just for that, for rest I don’t have any ounce of sympathy for this man.

He might have been troubled because of not wanting to have a child and might have valid reasons too but he never could share them with his wife, he kept himself busy with work, pushed her away and never discussed anything.

I always felt it takes two to make a marriage work but here I see that it was Arnav who was stonewalling Khushi, who was not ready for communication. So, if their marriage broke I would only blame Arnav, he never listened and just made assumptions.

Khushi might forgive him for BL, I am sure her work in NGO might have taught about episodes with drugs and all but will she forgive him for the rest. I don’t think she would be able to do that when she has been made to question her self worth by every relation of her life.

For a sharp and supremely talented business, Arnav is a complete dim wit in real life... Jokes apart, I think he was so much into his dillusion that Khushi is unhappy with him or he can't make Khushi happy, all rational things took backseat. He might think his practical side won but he was under a cloud or kohra (ode to Barun new show :-P) that he couldn't see through it. Now I hope he sees or atleast knows about the pictures and belatedly use his shatir dimaag to know complete truth about Manali and lavanya

Guys have u noticed one thing or correct me if I am wrong, but in whole of this FF, not once Arnav in his mind has blamed Khushi for anything. Did I miss something?

Not even in this chapter. He is control freak, takes decisions for the 2 of them but never he blamed her for his state of unhappiness or the state of the marriage

I think he was so much into his self denial mode that Khushi is unhappy with him that he lost sight of everything else. He truly loved her,loves her still but just because he doesn't want to have kid he wants to seperate from her because he thinks that's what she wants.

Even after knowing he misses her after she moved away, he still waited to go and bring her back because he has truly convinced himself that Khushi is better off without him

How's he going to convince himself that it was him all along that Khushi needed to be happy? How's he going to come out of this guilt which is much more heavier to bear.

Abuse of men is hardly touched topic, it's extremely real and sensitive. Look at the Arnav here too, he didn't pause to consider that he was forced to do this, but rather jumped to guilt that he cheated Khushi. Even the men in our society are conditioned to think they did wrong and not that their 'no' was not respected

May be the Arnav of the story will find out about the setup, may be not but the damage this has done to him will not diminish because of this.

Now lavanya has declared she might be pregnant so imagine the guilt he must have felt. 1st because he considers himself responsible for his act of recklessness and 2 what broke his marriage is staring at his face because of his act of recklessness

I hope he finds out about all this and destroys lavanya and manali. His marriage is whole lot seperate issue and I am still not considerate enough to forget his behaviour towards Khushi so that will be interesting to see

But I want him to use his brain once to make sure whoever set this whole thing up is punished

Arnav also loves Khushi crazily as per today's chapter and will do anything to make her happy... Just to avoid additional responsibility, he doesn't want babies at all and that's her main craving so it's a catch 22 situation for him or he made it by his stupid thinking, not discussing and things spiralled because he was lost in his own web of his Khushi being unhappy and miserable with him by him..

Contrary to my previous thinking Arnav loves her and respects her too and realizes she is always right and thoughtful and berates himself whenever he misbehaves with her.. He thinks he is doing all worng by denying her baby and then goes into blaming, torturing and stressing himself.. He is whimsical for sure..

His talent sure comes with eccentric behavor! It's not Khushi but Arnav needs counselling...

La clearly tell him she came on to him and they both were drunk which he missed to think through but I agree men will never think they were forced, that's how society is conditioned.

But the worst is he denying Khushi baby all these years and getting another woman pregnant by adultery! Khushi will never think of her Arnav doing this to her in her worst nighmare! What is it going to do her insecurities, self esteem etc. She is getting punished in worst possible way thanks to Arnav's reckless behavior and her sorrow seem to be never ending... How is Khushi ever goingt o get oer this???????

Hopefully pics will make Arnav wake up and take care of things and he able to give Khushi real picture of La and ma's vile efforts instead of telling her he got La pregnant! They are both doomed at this point... He by his own stupidity, she being his wife!

Plus our Asian society judges a man on their virility and they are the ones who are considered as perpetrators not victims.

Even Arnav of this story keeps apologising to Lavanya, he not even for a second stop and think that he was not the equal partner in the act, despite knowing she had drugs that too hallucinogenic drug.
I may hate Arnav the husband but Arnav as a victim has my full sympathies, god he needs to find out the truth but that will break him more. The parties which pushed him away from Khushi actually lead to everything going wrong in his life.

The story will become more angsty.

My worst thoughts were right about Lavenya being pregnant. I just didn’t want to voice it but someone else did after reading one of my posts. However, I was very wrong about the sleeping together part. There was no affair or emotions involved. Thank God! But something in me still has little sympathy for him. He was somewhat aware of what was happening. Is my double standard showing? If a woman had been drugged would I feel the same way? Who drugged him and when or was the old trope of him being drunk the real cause?

One thing, I can say however, is Khushi was not wrong in not liking to go to those Bollywood parties. Arnav thought he could navigate living in that world but look what happened. And it doesn’t seem like he learned his lesson. He went to a New Year’s party which he derided as being fake after the divorce started.

How ironic Arnav. I am assuming he will now pressure her to get an abortion. Will he tell Khushi about that part too? I am really heartbroken still for Khushi. And I’m still not liking Arnav in spite of his self flagellation. He is one mixed up guy. I have to digest more after the second part. I am assuming Lavenya’s grief is the abortion and Arnav not being supportive and coming to her once it’s sorted. Or the “ think” means it was a scare only and Arpita the twist master is writing her magic.

At any rate, I totally dislike his treatment of his wife around the baby issue and his pulling away from her. I may be a hard nut but I still am not liking him at all.

It was me who commented about the pregnancy part after the last chapter and now this...I seriously think, there is nothing left in Arnav and Khushi's marriage at present..let them get divorce and Khushi be independent.. because no way, Khushi will ever able to trust or even like Arnav after his involvement with Lavanya, specially, the supposed gift Arnav given to Lavanya ( pregnancy) which was Khushi's right , which She was craving for..

It's unforgivable.
