Please, this is an insult to Harsh now....even that guy had some gravitas as a character/actor no matter how much he kept complaining in the show😆

This Akshara is just a wannabe Manju but Ami jitna acting caliber bhi nahin to bring some heft to such scenes😆.....Ami is able to express that mix of anger, grief, angst whenever Manjiri goes overboard...trying to lecture to others without having the gravitas of a mom😆. Manju ka jo marzi bol lo, woh Maa waali feeling toh convey kar leti hai as a baseline....she is always fighting for her son before anyone else...she is trying to hold together the broken pieces of whatever is left of her family.

Akshara on the other hand is fighting to protect that image more than anything....she has no sympathy for those trying to salvage broken pieces but tries to act superior in front of them ki look I have everything that actually makes a family and I couldn't care less for your pain....

Waise it's amusing how much it is about PROJECTION for Akshara.....lol she is accusing Manju of HATING her when Manju was the one showing her kindness/motherly affection in Kasauli again and expressed her desire for Abhir to have both his parents together.

If someone HATES you, they wouldn't be thinking of wanting you back in their family😆. You can call her selfish, flip-flopper, sure but no person with actual hate in their heart would even CONSIDER a reunion.

The actual person with hate in their heart is Akshara....SHE is the one who has never even for a MOMENT expressed sympathy with Manjiri's losses or her POV....SHE is the one who can't STAND Abhi getting fatherly affection from Abhir or any mention of Birla lineage for Abhir.

She expects Manjiri to sing praises of her and Nav for denying Abhi his fatherhood for 6 years and if Manjiri call out their bullshit, toh that means she "hates" them? Waah re Akshara ji ka non-existent brain👏

She was also the only one to understand AK pain during Abhir surgery and who hugged her. No one else even Nav tried to pacify her.

Mrs Sharma is just badtameez! Bhabhimaa kicked out Akshara and was hostile to her, Swarna did the same with Naira yet they both never dared to disrespect them as they sympathised with their agony even though they were blamed for someone’s death! They still respect both women like their own mother!

I haven’t seen the previous Gens, but what you said has been my impression of the show and hence I started watching Gen 3 assuming it would be an easy watch with naach gaana, romance and little bit of drama. Lekin yahan tho DDP khatam nahin ho raha, aur uspe Mrs. Sharma ke betuke lecture suno 🤦🏻‍♀️

The episode was good and very emotional. I suggest watching it without remembering all the vile things Ak has done and watching the episode alone. Ak - Manju was witnessed by Ruhi who went and told Abhir that Manjari is scolding Ak and Ak came to give him shoes. Abhir runs to meet his mumma and Ak is also constantly looking back to see him. Really emotional scene with nice bg music and everything.

Then she meets Abhi outside and honestly, there was soo much miscommunication, it reminded me of post-first leap Abhira. Dissecting the meeting here :

Ak walks out in a haze and Abhi almost hits her with his car.

Abhi : Ak are you okay? Dhyan kaha hai tumhara, abhi kuch ho jata toh.....

And he was pointing towards himself, like saying abhi kuch ho jata toh mera kya hota. This guy!

Then he sees her crying and asks what happened ? You came to meet junior right, did you meet him?

Ak : nothing new happened

Abhi : Did ma say anything?

Ak : Ma is allowed to say anything or do anything for their kids, but not all mothers can protect their kids equally.

So Ak was talking about herself not being able to protect Abhir, and Abhi understood it as Ak talking about Manjari's pain, and Manjari not being able to protect Neil.

Abhi : Thank god you finally understand this. That's what ma is angry about, she could not protect Neil.

Did you say sorry to her? Tell me clearly what happened, did you apologize for Neil ?

And Ak just stared at him, lol. And then immediately pivoted :

Ak : Tum toh case jeet gaye na......

Abhi just extremely confused.

Abhi : Why are you saying all of this, I didn't do anything, I didn't go to court, I am not going to higher court.

Ak: blah blah...I am afraid he will become like you

Abhi : If you looked properly, you would see he is already like me. He has a lot of the same qualities as me. He is my son, and neither you nor I can change that. Try to think about this from my perspective.

Ak : Tumhari tarah.... you will not understand my fear.

Abhi : and you will not understand my pain.

Ak walks away.

The second part was Abhir. He lashes out at Manjari, and Abhi walks in. He tells junior to take it easy. And tells him this is not the way to talk to elders. Then Abhir says, you feel bad i am talking to your mom like this; I also feel bad if someone shouts at my mom.

So Abhir is against Manjari now, lol. It didn't even take a proper confrontation, he just heard from Ruhi that Manjari is shouting at Ak, and that was enough. He really is Abhi's son.

Then dear sweet Abhi goes and says sorry to Junior and accepts that your mom wasn't wrong; my mom was. Abhir accepts the apology, and Abhi gets him ready for school. Abhi is thinking to himself, did you ever think that you would have such small dreams and would have to work so hard to realize them - he finally got to get his son ready for school! Then Abhi and Ruhi make a surprise for Abhir, and they surprise him.

This whole thing is obviously going toward Abhira's reunion. There is still so much between Ak, Manjari, and Abhi. Ak still has to apologize for Neil, Manjari has to apologize for everything, Abhi still has to apologize. All three of them should just sit together and say I am sorry to each other and get it over with.

Abhi is clearly still holding out hope for that. He is still holding out hope for them (Abhira), even if he doesn't realize it.

But.....Abhir being mad at Abhi's track, might be coming up with how everything is going. Today they made a lot of connections. Abhi connected Manjari's losing Neil to Ak's losing Abhir. Ak connected whatever happened with her to Muskaan gas debacle, and she went on a rant about how DILs are not treated like daughters and blamed for stuff. Abhi connected himself and junior's habits being the same and having the same effect of moms. Arohi took the shoes from Ak, and Ak was super happy with her, so I guess more sisterly love there. Manjari got to see Abhir's reactions to her being mean with Ak.

Btw Abhi did talk to Manjari about how she overreacted and stuff, but he didn't shout or anything; just told her she was wrong. Then before they could talk further, Ruhi took him away.

I feel like its overdue for Abhi to burst at someone, either Manjari or Ak, but I have no idea when that will happen.

I personally could not connect with Akshara today!!!

Maybe because of the makers. Abhimanyu was going through much more than this, when he had got to know the truth. He was unable to share it with anyone not even with his mom. He went through this all alone. And achanak se maa ki mamta ke liye ek aur gaana???

And finally they showed that she has no guilt left in her for Neil's death. She couldn't protect her child??? Where does she think her child is now???
