Abhi can never leave his mother according to me for these three reasons:

He always remembers her abuse and I think in a way he blames himself for not getting her separated from Harsh earlier

She already lost one son

Her health

Since the beginning, Abhi wanted to leave the Birla house, but because of Manjiri, he stayed.

Also, now Abhi has three people he loves the most in the world who stay in this house now- Abhir, Ruhi, and Manjiri.
