Anmol was about to get married to mohsin but he misbehaves with her (don't think rape will happen) and the marriage gets called off. She someone gets married to hamza but mohsin will keep blackmailing her creating misunderstanding between hamza and anmol.

But doesn't Hamza's character denying to marry her saying Hamari Abhir aur meri soch kafi mukhatalif hai aur mai usse shadi nahin kar sakta, it was Hamza's voice I guess.( Anmol's name is Abhir, I guess). And Mohsin is laughing at that .

He seems to be from a very modern household. The short films he made were progressive and he don't come across as a chauvanist or misogynist. He seems to be a very open minded guy.
