Regional version of the show is so much better. I really love the Tamil remake. She is a successful caterer running business with just women employees:

She chucked out Vanraj adnkavya version out of the house and bought the house from Vanraj with her money ( everyone contributed, toshu Samar and bapuji as well and Anupama )

Actually Anupamaa is also empowerment, but of those women who are disrespected and thrown out by in laws/husband yet still keep slaving for them. Even if they marry another, it'll be namesake and all they'll care about are the ex in laws under the pretext of matka belencing and meeting/defending the ex who cheated her, as the impeccable Acche Pita of adult children 🤣

Still relieved to see that the Marathi version hasn't become about the whitewashing and glorifying the abusive ex in laws at any cost.

But there the evergrey shade , the hero of the heroes , is the langotiya changotiya yaar of Rajan Shahi Paneer.

SP is the gravy of that Shahi paneer. So slap to Banta hi nahi....

True. In Hindi version, the show's very protagonist itself changed from Anupamaa - the one who got cheated on and disrespected to Vile Vanarraj - the one who cheated.

Anupamaa is just a device for suffering while Vile Vanars 'acchai' is literally forced on the audience. How many coats of whitewash can one character need 🤪
