I don't think the flashback had any romantic aspect or any mushy feelings associated with it . Akshara was the first person from whom he had heard this bhajan , it was obvious that he remembered akshara especially taking into consideration the fact that he hasn't put any conscious effort to move on from his toxic past .

It was simply a memory with respect to the fact that akshara was a part of abhimanyu's life at sometime .

I don't think so; that flashback was filled with Abhi's love trying to burst out of his stoic posture. The way he held himself, the way he got lost in it, even Manjari understood that this guy is back on Ak again cause he never left.

And Abhi hasn't tried to move on? What was he doing for six freaking years then? At the beginning of the leap, he talks about all of this, how he failed to move on despite trying so hard and how she was able to, etc. After everything, he was back onto Ak bhajan during the temple track, and then after that, he has been reserved and kept his feelings in check, but they are more than obvious in pretty much any scene. HC portrays Abhi's longing and pain really well. So whether it was the hug after Abhir's surgery or even the Kasauli house stuff where Ak finally became friendly with Abhi, and he was soo happy.

Sorry, I am just really done with Abhi still pining after someone who hates him and hurts him repeatedly. and him still trying to seek out any interaction with her, like all she does is hurt you, please give yourself some peace, but nope.

Her reasons for hate are - false allegations that he never respected her, didn’t listen to her that dreaded day when instead of saying sorry and giving time she shamelessly asked meri kya galti, he didn’t defend her for her stupidity in front of family which indirectly caused 3 deaths, he didn’t hail her actions and didn’t console/pamper her. Main reasons are these. Except that 1 day and few months after that - when has Abhimanyu NOT done above things? So her base of hate is selfishness. She may be self proclaimed empath but true fact is she’s not that much of an empath as she appears.

At this point, her reasons are not even clear anymore. It's not just white day but everything. Its like everything after white day that she did, she blames Abhi for it, and she went ahead and said their entire relationship was like an umar qaid for her. So what does this mean? She doesn't just hate him; she hates the person she used to be, "Akshu" who he loved and who loved him. So the entanglements happen like this: She decides not to inform Abhi or anyone else about Abhir and raise the kid on her own, realizes she would be stripping the kid of a father, so asks Nav to be the father. Nav is her bandaid for Abhi's absence, and she really leaned into it over the years. Making sure Abhir and Nav were attached etc. Nav both removed her guilt of keeping Abhir from his real father and allowed her to fantasize about her "happy family". Then Abhi came back, and since then, she has been trying to prove to him and herself that it is indeed a "happy family". Otherwise, this jaap wasn't there so much if you see in the beginning Kasauli scenes. Now it's all twisted up, her fears, her guilt, her anger, and it's all directed at Abhi cause he is the reason.

I don;t see any love here, and I am doubting she ever loved Abhi to began with.
