The best part of todays episode was the return of some of the old background music for Dev and vidhi. Brought back memory of that feel good feeling. The videv scenes were cute - again of course because they were being extra cute to make Jai J.
I don’t get his issues - he is propping chithra up as his partner and thinks that will make Vidhi want to be with him. He crazier than cray.
I’m going to hold on to the memories of that feel good factor.
Quick update -
Jai takes vidhi to meet Chithra and then his guy brings Vikram who has been beaten up black and blue. Jai makes him apologize and then adds some dialogue saying when one of his own is hurt, he will go to the ends of the earth to get them justice. He wanted to win brownie points with vidhi - but vidhi ke man mein to Chithra ke liye shehnaiyan bhajne lage 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ chithra is super relieved and hugs him.
The next day is the family day thingy at the super food company. Jai says they’re celebrating because of vidhi, and vidhi is confused and tells dev it’s because of raoji. Jai asks dev to say a few words - and dev does, saying he’s here for raoji bhai.
They play some partner games, and jai has invited chithra to be his partner. Dev is wondering what his motive is with chithra.
the first game they play is musical chairs - jai is trying to win with vidhi - but of course that doesn’t happen. These scenes are sweet even though dev is all aware of what he’s doing and is obviously trying to prove a point.
the second game is arm wrestling - and for whatever reason Jai and dev compete. Of course vidhi wants dev to win. The fact that she wants dev to win so much bothers hai and dev notices. And he wins 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
The third game they play is throw the ball at your partner (blindfolded - just listening to the sound of their voice). Of course dev and vidhi win.
Then jai, trying to sabotage dev bumps into someone wearing heels, who steps on dev’s foot. It’s bruised and vidhi is upset. Dev is reassuring her. Jai tries tell them that dev is injured and shouldn’t play. Of course dev is like no they’ll play.
the next game is the paper game, every couple will be asked a question and if they get it right they fold the paper. Everyone looses. Dev and vidhi are asked what they were wearing on their first date (pink suit for her and white shirt and brown pants for him - really? Is this the coffee date ??)
Everyone is like aww and carry her, and jai is like he’s old and injured. Dev is like hold my jacket and carry’s her 😍😍😍 sigh
Jai nearly drowns in jealousy and is like he needs to focus on dev and get him out of the way.
Precap - a goon attacks dev with a knife and stabs him. Vidhi is shocked.
The things I liked about this episode:
Their chemistry and how natural rachana and Iq are with each other.
How far Videv have come - how at ease they are with each other, not a care for the world.
The background music - it’s been ages since I’ve hear the oh bgm.
What I dint like:
Jai, jai, Jai - his story his motive his actions and reactions make absolutely no sense to me
