after watching Anjaam i almost forgot every film of srk ....such brillant acting he did in negative role ...having typedcast is not his fault he has proved himself when got different films

I might develop sympethatic liking towards SRK someday.. for the way he is dissed every where about everything😆

If looks were the only criteria, Arjun Rampal and ARK should be the number 1 superstars of the country.

They lack swagger, charisma, screen presence, style and a certain innocence that young Salman had. So please do not compare Salman to ARK or Arjun.

Also the actors you mentioned are not as good looking as Salman.

Salman has easily been the most handsome star after Dharmendra.

And technically only him, Dharam ji and Hrithik can be called most handsome stars of Indian cinema and have consistently been admired for their looks, compared to any other male actor or model.

A good looking male is an exception in Indian showbiz. It is so rare that ones who do have almost perfect or symmetrical features or blend of manliness and innocence or swagger, style are considered something exceptional and deadly combo which makes up for lack in any other departments such as dancing (in case of Dharam) or acting etc.

He took his stardom for granted and ran entire career on smile or dimples and outstretched arms in romantic films.

One Pathaan or CDI cannot hide fact that he has primarily been a lover boy type hero. No one romances like him. But he hardly did much in other genres. His capacity as an actor is fairly limited.

He is surely a better actor than Salman but standard should not be so low that one feels they are better just by comparing to Salman who is all looks and no acting.
