Chemistry also has a lot do with the way the characters, storylines and scenes are written and directed. If it doesn't have much substance in itself then even actors won't be able to bring much to the table in terms of performance or chemistry. Which, unfortunately for them, seems to be the case with the projects they have collaborated on. For some reason they are always missing the mark of selecting a good project together. If not, they showed their potential in the little scope they got in a project like Saari Bhool Humari Thi or the latest Chand Tara. (Little scope that i am talking about could perhaps be because of reasons like less screen time together to establish the relationship, badly written characters and storylines, poor direction, etc)
Farhan and Urwa are another well-known example. They were good together in Udaari. That was excellent work, and it allowed them to showcase chemistry. Now, compare their chemistry in Meri Shahzadi; it was non existent, especially given the limited scope. If the same project was substituted with pairs having good chemistry even they would not be able to save a show like that.
This is merely to point out that actors also require the appropriate factors for creating that chemistry in the first place. For the most part they can only be as good as what is given to them.

Coming to 'Mein', my sixth sense tells me to flee the potential headache that it will be, especially with names like Badar and Zanjabeel attached. 😆 However, here I am, even more intrigued by Ayeza's character introduction posts. I'm hoping to see Wahaj and Ayeza in their darkest selves throughout the show, attempting to outwit each other. That would certainly be something intriguing. Let's see!
Also, speaking of Badar Mehmood, see how he has treated a "possible" sizzling pairing of Hania and Wahaj in MPHT. They have been short changed here. To see how good they can be, we will actually have to wait for something else. Therefore, until we actually see something of Wahaj and Ayeza's pairing, I will reserve all judgments. 😆

Attachment is an invitation to DDP. 🤔
Ye kambhakt ishq hai. Dil laga bhi liya toh kis se. 🥺🥺🥺
I was getting mad as I kept hearing her talk yesterday.. she has a very casual approach to violence and does not understand the responsibility that comes with such
Writing… Amna treated her with such respect … was there any question that she missed… NM baji was like ask me everything except Epi 47.. who does that !!!
Highly unprofessional writer!
You can see she lacks understanding of society! Her world is still 🧚♀️…
she has never experienced hardship!
Alhamdulliah but that means she dosent understand the definition of hardship and that’s why such a casual approach. Haya is an example
Me after so many replays also saw that MK look when he comes back in the room at night. Him nodding down his head , I think when he saw meerab with both rings , he was like there u go , it’s good u r looking like my previous meerab. Wonder who put those 2 rings back on Meerab .They didn’t ask questions .. accepted everything and wrote off those 2 years… I could not understand the look MK gives when he comes back to the room at night… I have seen those scenes several times but still confused….the one that stands out for me is Promise me you will not leave again… he says that after missed you so much !!!
@Bold: They were surrounded by their family members. Does it look good if he asks permission in front of them? And there he was accepting that Meesam was his child. So he took her in his arms to show that he accepted her.
@Underline: They both are acting the part which was written by the writer. And when the writer doesn't think about the seriousness of what happened then she would write like this only.
And Meerab was kidnapped in Episode 15 and she was scared that night but the morning she didn't look like someone who got kidnapped last night. The writer doesn't focus on the aftereffects of things.
I agree. The most logical conclusion is that M and M were showing a united front when surrounded by everyone. Murtasim wanted to accept Meerab and his child and therefore he doesn’t place much importance on consent. Also he is overwhelmed by new knowledge of having a baby and just wants to hold her.
Once inside their bedroom, he has old demons to face. This is THE room and this is THE bed. He asks permission excessively for this reason. He also pleads with Meerab to sit next to him because he knows he has violated her before.
I just can’t get over this. How did the writer think pyar mein MR bhi maaf hota hai. In reality women forgive because they are financially dependent, have kids or are dependent-natured. Even being molested by someone induces a very helpless or horrifying feeling which is hard to overcome let alone rape. I can’t wrap by mind around this being romanticized.
I really hope this story was not the writer’s attempt to bring closure on to herself/her own situation. She did say she takes inspiration from real events. Yikes.
Sunday also , I am doing replays , but i am doing only when I have time 😂😂😂. Looks like I am slowly comming out of TB fever, and to my old self , with writing what things to do , planning on my next exam .. hmm so much what real world demands..
😒😒

. In my scheme of things it’s Meerab who is going to grill him more ….right now they are just happy to be with each other…the feeling is still sinking in ….give them one or two days more …..when Meesam is in her own room peacefully sleeping ,they will have their moment of giley shikvey followed by a sizzling , hot , steaming hot night of passion 😊 followed by many more
