Ew Amisha - didn't think she'd turn out to be a homophobe

Amisha has not aged well. She studied at Tufts.

Massachusetts lead way in making homosexuality legal and making sure the LGBTQ community had their rights protected. Cannot believe this is coming from her.

As if she did very clean and sanskari films all her life, which were good for kids to watch.

Amisha is pathetic.

Earlier she gave sexist statement also that heroines do not deserve pay parity.

In 2002 I had seen a very regressive interview of hers where she was almost excitedly sharing (as if it is something to be proud of) how she and her brother used to be caned if they did not stand first in class every year. And almost attributed it as a reason for her being highly educated and being a gold medalist from Tufts University at 22.

As if it was some good thing to cane kids if they got any rank other than first or it was the only way to get a good education.

Amisha has really regressive ideas. I am not surprised her choice of films also reflects the same regressive mindset.

This was absolutely disgusting & it’s weird she’s so keen to air these views. I used to like her but not anymore. Cannot support someone who is so young (relatively) who has such regressive views. 🤢

Did any of you watch the interview? She said this in the context that traditional films are missing in Bollywood and people can’t watch OTT with their families everything it’s full of sex and LGBT content.

Chalo atleast ott and such films have ratings advising viewers of their discretion when watching content
