I said new because in older drama a few years back we did get to see some very sensible characters.

but as time is passing it's becoming more and more like star plus.

Ary and geo especially.

There are so many kdramas where both the leads are either equally crazy or equally sober which gives a sense of equality among the couple. That's very rare in pak dramas nowadays. Also they have a very weird and problematic way of showing strong men or women. For them strong men are the ones roaming around with a gun and strong women are the ones that ill mannered with no grace.

Also in drama's fashion most of the female lead wears traditional kurta not morden I'm glad they made umeed a fashionista in fairy tale PTV drama needs to ditch traditional kurta and make all FL wears modern clothes even I'm liking Sarah's fashion in sabaat (no offense to traditional kurta it looks beautiful) it should be wore ocassionally rather than everyday in PTV dramas

I think it's her voice and dialogue delivery that don't make these type of characters ott. Iqra and ramsha's voice pierces through our ears when they talk loud and fight. Even when ayeza's character is fighting she wont be screaming at the other person and making ott expressions which make her character more likeable. She also has a softer and low pitch voice in general. So even if she raises her voice it won't pierce through our years.

Imran Ashraf except for being shown as a college study was good in his role. From no angle ayeza or imran look like college going young adults.

To my best knowledge they actually mentioned in the first episode, that they both have failed several times 🤣 and are not interested in studies hence unable to move to the next class.

I think they are making these changes, In ye dil mera Sajal was also a fashionista.

What's your thought on Neelam's style in Ehram e junoon?

It's awesome I loved it but they should do makeover for nimra's character in Ehraam e Junoon

Has anybody watched this? When this episode aired, I recall the hype on twitter. I tuned in to see what all the excitement was about, but I was so underwhelmed. Ramsha is one stiff dancer. She is simply attempting to do steps while standing there still. Ahad, likewise, didn't put up a good dance.

Sajal just stood there and made an expression and stole the scene. There is not a single scene were Bilal wasn't good enough. The only advantage is he got a more glamour role with a better background story that make people feel for him whereas salman is barely in the show unlike Mpht where both wahaj and zaviyar gets enough screentime and wahaj's character has more trades to get the sympathy of the audience.

Ill fitted shirt is kind of in style right now. Its a very popular casual style right now. If you follow Korean celebs over sized shirts and tshirts are very in and Koreans are the masters of Street and casual styling.

That's on perspective. I like guys who don't shout and talks in low voice so azfar not screaming wasn't a problem for me. I liked Shehryar as much as I liked him in sinf e aahan as Osama. I didn't say Bilal acted bad but Shehryar out did him in my eyes and I'll say that the key factor is the level of grace of both characters. Azfar has more grace in his personality as compared to Salman in my eyes. But Bilal is a good and decent actor, although I have never completed any of his serials but I still appreciates his acting.

About sajal so I'm sorry if my point will hurt you as I know that you love sajal but for me Sajal has been very disappointing as an actor lately. I was five or six maybe when I saw her in meri ladli and she was my most favorite actress for so long. Her performance in Alif, Aangan and YKS is my favorite and no doubt those were award winning performances but in all her three latest project Sinf e Aahan, Ishq e laa and now this kuch unkahi her acting seems forced and ott. In sinf e Aahan I was supposed to feel sympathy for rabia but I ended up falling in love with mahjabeen. Rabia was so obnoxious for me just because of Sajal's expressions. Similarly in ish e laa I had no attachment with Shanaya even when she got martyred I felt nothing for her. I read ishq e laa's story first and I felt bad for Shanaya while reading but not while watching the drama. Yumna as Aska despite a bit annoying written character surpassed Sajal easily for me.

For MPHT so well I have watched that serial and in that Wahaj hardly gets screen space. The episodes are filled with areeb, his toxic family and maheers parents. Even in the latest episode Wahaj only came for five minutes. Zaviyar has most of the screen timing because of nepotism and it's clear that makers tried their best to sideline Saad and it was saved only because of Wahaj. If Wahaj wouldn't have been playing Saad but some mediocre actor was and in place of Zaviyar any good actor played Areeb, no one would have even bothered about Saad at all.

If loose shirts are in trends then I'll say I don't like this trend. They were in trends in 1980's also maybe.

Ertugrul wasn't bitter like asher and zaroon. Ertugrul was very straightforward and serious compared to them. Also ertugrul as a lover was very poetic

I see Kdramas and I am just so impressed by how they take a theme and make such engaging content, like a few days back I watched Celebrity a new k drama, and it was so fresh and new topic.

They can make a mermaid, alien, robot drama, etc without you questioning your logic.

There must be so much thought that goes behind it that it's mind blogging to me.

Our industry sadly is stuck on the same thing, saas-bahu, romance, love triangle, patriotic and gangster theme.

Rabia once said that she understands in drama there must be a conflict or misunderstanding to move the story forward and a K- drama (Romantic genre) instantly crossed my mind where without any conflict the drama was moving and it was engaging.

Geo continues with their tradition of showing their heroines getting slapped in every drama. Albeit this time she will be compelled (by the hero) to slap herself. 😆
