I still can’t reconcile this if it was MR. Wahaj even said, when he was in last stage of filming, that Murtasim was logical. I’m not sure about over the culture there, but MR is not logical nor should it be viewed as any bit naturally logical. So that’s why I’m still straying towards no MR.

I feel that Wahaj and Yumna have more sense than to call an MRist husband logical and not grey in this day and age. Yumna lives in the United states part time - MR is absolutely shunned here, there is no in between, although I’m sure it definitely happens. She would definitely know not to call an MRist a non- grey character. She would get crucified by that statement here. Those interviews were during the filming of the last episodes… even if not totally in sequence, at that point they would have known about MR.

About MR, I don’t believe it was MR. It’s a heinous crime that removes all human traits from the criminal.

According to the script, Meerab had to tear the contract. So I believe she did do it. But I do think MK somehow initiated it and Mee gave in out of love. That would explain the guilt and the lack of remorse.

It was definitely left to be vague, which I think was an idea proposed by the director.

About the actors and their statements, I’m not anyone’s fan and don’t give them much thought beyond what I see on screen. So I can’t vouch for or disregard anyone’s moral values. I don’t know them.

And I’d always take statements from the media industry with a pinch of salt.
