Most of my school mates from govt schools got into IIT, AFMC,AIIMS etc... I myself went to NIT.. So, it all depends on the individual.. You can force them only upto a certain extent,but after that they are on their own way.. Parents need to understand that...

Same issue in the US…even immigrant families. So many folks in the second generation here, and their kids, are on all kinds of anxiety and depression meds. My husbands’ siblings’ families… the kids are grown up and successful on paper… miserable depressed sad lives in reality. They can’t handle real life well. And if they have to do their laundry one weekend their minds are 🤯!!!

Say 30-40 years back- you had to work and plan for your food , accommodation everything a year in advance! Nowadays the daily needs r not a important factor anymore.

I am like WTF is wrong with you parents!! All this kids need is telling off and make them do work! Seriously!

Young kids on depression medication 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ throw them in a place where they need to find food and build shelter , trust me depression will disappear like Usain Bolt!

there are kids around the world where there main focus is to get a bread so they can eat! Those kids should be in depression not kids who has everything in life!
