That's true in India(INBOLD) but in UK our problem is getting a place in the public school near by our home(catchment) can be a challenge. We bought our house when my daughter's in yr1 and ever since I had to appeal the council to assign me a place at a nearby school, because her present school is very far to us, but they never gave her a place and I have been driving her to school for the past 5 years.
The public education system isn't great in here as well, as a result I have dedicated past many years to kids studies, for secondary school places we have 11+ entrance it feels like EAMCET entrance, when the child is hardly 11 year old. If you type 11+ in Google you can see the difficulty of the exam, they have those bank test and IAS entrance kind of questions.
If they dont get through the entrance they'll have to join normal secondary school and it's not the ideal choice 🤦

Buy education is the policy we are following here. Even in small towns the fees for schools is too much.. 🤷🤷🤷 To get your kid into 1st standard you have to send him to school for atleast 4 years before that. I mean this is bullshit. I don't want to curse now but every curse under the sky can be used in this scenario. And the fees 🙏🙏🙏 they are literally looting in the name of education. Even scholarships don't get you by.
Recently one of our relatives wanted their daughter to join in school. She is 3 year kid. They said let's join her in pre nursery..this is a newly invented term now. And the fees is 10k rupees. I'm like what will they teach her. Einstein theories in that age. 🤦🤦 It's so bad.
